Former SC Democratic party chair Dick Harpootlian told MSNBC’s Steve Kornacki Sunday Vice President Joe Biden’s consideration of a presidential run actually gives Democrats the best chance of retaining the White House in 2016.
Harpootlian said Hillary Clinton’s track record will cause her and the Democrats to “die a death of a thousand cuts,” yet Biden is “an inspirational figure” that voters can rally around.
HARPOOTLIAN: I think Hillary comes into the race, as she did in ’08 with all kinds of baggage… There’s going to be distractions, we saw just this week with the Wall Street Journal about payments money raised to the foundation and speeches given, prior to her becoming secretary of state… It’s that kind of record and those kinds of distractions that will keep her off-balance and the Democratic party off-balance throughout the Clinton campaign… I think it’s very important to understand, she will die a death of a thousand cuts, as I said some time ago while Biden can focus the voters on him and on what he proposes to do… Joe Biden is an inspirational figure. He gives a great speech… Bill Clinton had that. Barack Obama had that. Even George W. Bush has that. Hillary Clinton does not have the ability to inspire people."

Well stated. Joey The Buffon is about as inspirational as a lamp post on a wet night.
Since Beau’s death, most Americans are respectful of his loss and grief; someone tell Harpootlian that family tragedies are not resume enhancers.
And unless there’s a video or non fraudulent recording the “ Dad you should run for president” line is an unprovable.
This guy is one of those they send out to deliver the messages. Hillary is going to be removed from this campaign. She may have been used as a “target” to begin with and she’s too stupid to realize it. All the republicans spend all their time attacking someone who’s not even going to be the opponent as Biden skates through the entire campaign.
I have a “rule” of Dem politics, for whatever it’s worth.
If someone has the Dem nomination “locked up” 2-3 years out, they rarely make it to the nomination.

The only candidate that the left will allow to win is the one that promises to keep VALERIE JARRETT in her ‘position’.
So far, Hillary has already stated that she would put CHERYL MILLS in VJ’s spot.
That is why Hillary is being taken down.
Now, Ole’ Joe has no problem with keeping VJ and Elizabeth Warren had a meeting with VJ at least a year ago where she promised VJ she could keep his spot , if Warren got elected.
Hillary can win with the following slogan because it’s all she has.
“I have a vagina that gives out free stuff”
Free stuff gets 49% of the vote every time. The other 2% will be illegals voting for her.
Third party talk assumes that a Republican gets so PO’ed over being denied the nomination. But, what if, it is SWMNBN is denied the nomination? What if she goes third party?

In her heart of hearts (presuming she has one), she believes she is entitled to the nomination. She resents having to run for it a second time.
If denied again, she is not going to put the extra effort required into a 3rd party run. Instead, she'll retreat into a shell...and pout.

He was on the show because he called producers and said “I’ve got something to say that will get your show legs,” and he did.

Bernie is the only Democrat candidate any type of new idea and Bernie could be disqualified because he is not a registered Democrat.
The problem in the Hillary camp is, they are all asking “What can we do to reverse this downslide / “death by a thousand cuts,”
The True Believers all have “new bright ideas.”
The old hands say “There is nothing we can do. She sucks as a candidate, and we are paying the penalty for too many years of too good a record of too many misdeeds....” and they are all waiting for the Huma/lesbian shoe to drop.

Some DC writers are already talking coyly in their columns about Huma moving into the WH, sleeping in the bedroom Eleanor Roosevelt’s lesbian lover used, etc.

An 18 month campaign for prez is incredibly grueling, as is the work itself. Despite what her doc said, I don’t think she is up to it physically, ergo. phoning it in.
