Donald Trump is taking the 2016 Presidential campaign by storm! Trump, who would be a bold defender of conservative principles in the White House, announced on Twitter who is pick for Attorney General is.
His choice is South Carolina conservative Rep. Trey Gowdy (R), who continues to Chair the U.S. House of Representative’s Select Committee on Benghazi. Gowdy has been a consistent thorn in the side of the Obama administration, exposing the White House’s incompetence on issues ranging from amnesty, IRS abuses, and the illegal deletion of then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s emails.
As Trump tweeted, “@HillaryClinton’s toast. Dems had better get the”B Team” off the bench. @TGowdySC for Attorney General under President Trump.”
This wasn’t long after Trump announced he would also want former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin to accept his position in his Cabinet.
Clearly, Donald Trump is willing to build a “dream team” of influential conservative leaders who know how to fight for limited government and defeat liberals. Trey Gowdy and Donald Trump share a common tough, no-nonsense style. And as Gowdy is a talented former prosecutor, he is very qualified for the appointment!
I like Cruz as VP and Palin as Department of Interior.
We can put Fiorina in charge of the IRS: she has experience firing people.
You also need to eliminate the EPA.
If hillary is found to have broken the law, and is charged with a crime, it will be a huge media spectacle to have her go through the criminal court system.

A little known fact about Palin is that she was CIC of the only fulltime A/NG in the US. She had nuclear missles under her command and regularly received high-level DOD briefings. So SECDEF would be great for her.

The best part is that Trump has promised to hand over power to his VP after two years. So Gov Palin will finally get the position she deserves.

That’s not an excuse. Gowdy chose to accept the conditions and restraints of the position.
When elected to Congress, a member can make their own choices as to how they see themselves serving their constituents and their ambitions.
Gowdy either negotiated or could have negotiated the scope of his powers and the limits placed on his prosecutorial powers. If he had negotiated the limits to his satisfaction AND Boehner had reneged, then it was his ***duty*** to report to the American people the breach of faith on the part of Boehner OR step down from his position OR resign from Congress.
Gowdy did none of the above. I have said in the past that Gowdy talks a good game but actually performs in a manner that shows he’s in it for himself. I’ll continue to stand by that statement.
Nah Boehner is the wet blanket that keeps Gowdy in place. Regardless what the circumstances are, Gowdy would be an effective AG.
Gowdy is not going to be AG.
If Trump is elected, the AG slot will go to his enforcer Michael Cohen.
Opinions opinions... We don’t know that, but we do know Trump has endorsed Gowdy publicly.
