That’s why they had “lend-lease” with the USA and UK; because it wasn’t working, and they needed to beat the Third Reich at the time.

Soviets and commies always have 5-year based plans.

Not coincidental.

As one bright guy said on CNBC.....

China has national planning by scientists, engineers, and mathematicians, and the US has national planning by lawyers.

Neither one is good, but by definition we lose.

Whats really frustrating is we get the government we deserve.

Actually, some of us deserve better. But we're overwhelmed by the brainstems.

A Five-Year Plan? Does he know that those were even a joke in communist countries?

In other words, no.

I watched a skyscraper go up in Chang An, one bucket of cement on a rope on a rope at a time, be hey, they put a nice plaster vernier over everything when it was done.

Stated then that I’d hate to be standing here when that thing comes down in 5 or 10 years.

Everything in China is just a nice facade, or a copy.

We have 4 year plans.

We'll have a new 4 year plan in another year and a half.

Having been to China I can guar-an-dam-tee that they put as many ‘shortcuts’ into their infrastructures projects. They use too much sand to aggregate ratios in their concrete in most of the projects I personally saw plus when thet do use re-bar it’s as small in diameter as they can get away with.

An additional item... when was the last time the U.S. executed anyone involved in an infra-structure project. China most certainly does when the responsible individual can be identified when a project goes ‘bad’.

“Obama Wants 5-Year Plan: ‘I Guarantee You This Is Not How China’ Handles Its Infrastructure”

Yep, we have a Constitution. And I still don’t see where infrastructure is in the constitution.

Pass an amendment if the federal wants authority over infrastructure. If you just take authority illegally, it is tyranny, and an abuse of power.

The constitution is currently not being followed. Therefore we don’t have a constitution.

Our federal government is a creation of the states. When this creation gets out of control, then the states have the right to abolish it or change it.

Besides the three branches of federal government that we are aware of, there exists a fourth branch which most people forget, it is the states. And actually, as mentioned above, this fourth branch has more power and authority than any of othe other three combined.

It is time for the fourth branch to assume it’s proper authority, and alter or abolish the other three.

For all you parents of seven-year-olds, you better get them into the factory, because that’s “how China does it”.

You're confusing exploited children used in electronics and textile factories vs. exploited teenagers to men who build the infrastructure.

Gotta make sure we keep the exploited Chinese people properly categorized.....

Five-year plans I can take.

When Obamao starts talking about the Gang of Four that’s impeding progress towards the rule of the proletariat, that’s when I’ll start listening to him.

I want our gasoline taxes to pay for maintenance and construction of the federal highway system - and state gasoline taxes to pay for state highways and roads - no new money for highways!!

Why do commies love 5 year plans?

5 years is the amount of time it takes to build the Potemkin Village and pass on the big lie to the next generation.

>>In other words, no.

Obama and I were born a year and two days apart. This battle was still developing when were born. Of course, when he was smoking weed and getting college credits as a foreign student in his no-show classes, I was pushing Poseidon missiles around the north Atlantic in an SSBN.

“I guarantee you this is not how China, Germany, other countries around the world—other big, powerful countries around the world—handle their infrastructure,” Obama said. …

OK, but I don't care how a Communist country, a Socialist country, and various unspecified "other countries" handle their infrastructure.
