Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) found himself at odds with some immigration reform advocates Thursday, defending his 2007 vote against a comprehensive immigration bill and telling an audience hosted by the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce that "open borders" were a threat to American jobs.
"There is a reason that Wall Street likes immigration reform," Sanders said. "What I think they’re interested in is seeing a process by which we can bring low-wage labor into this county."

But ultimately there is no way Sanders is against the influx or would stop it.
No one believes in open borders, including immigration advocates. The issue is how open the faucet should be.
I didn’t know that Hispanics needed their own “chamber of commerce”. I wonder what Bernie is going to say to the Caucasian Chamber of Commerce.
I know it would hurt our citizens. That’s a fact. But heck, we should cement the ones here in place.
So Bernie knows it’s wrong, what impact it’s having, and still wants to keep them here.

Yep here again, Trump said open borders aren’t good for America and immediately Sanders jumps on the band wagon...do your own thinking Sanders and quit taking what everyone else is saying as your own....

Sounds like Sanders is TO THE RIGHT of many of the Republican candidates, at least with regard to Open Borders.

Making this an issue concerning both the left and right is the best thing that can happen in the illegal immigration debate.
Can we assume the Washington Post, New York Times and Meet the Press will now refer to Bernie Sanders as a racist hater?
He’s good on this, and he’s good on guns, and he’s not a crook. And I love that he never lost his NOO YAWK accent.

I have it on extremely good authority that Sanders is a Republican plant.
My extremely good authority is it’s every as plausible as the repetition ad nauseum that Trump is a Democrat plant.
Bernie is a socialist. But,I am starting to feel heis honest and doesnot posess the guile the Obama does and is not evil like most of the Des. He seems to be genuie and all though I deplore his basic politics just like the rest of them (donks) I think I might prefer him over the other Dem field. If he is the Dem nominee and Jeb is the Republican I will vote for him. The big thing is that unlike the rest of the Democrat field the country clubbers will not be able “to work with him to get things done”. He will probably go right after their money and that will serve them right for their fecklessness, duplicity and their treachery. He might even secure the borders.
Very probably the only time in his life that he’s been correct.Funny that it should involve such a vital issue.But give the guy credit nevertheless.
