Donald Trump: Crimea is Europe's problem
CNN ^ | July 31 3015 | Tom LoBianco

Posted on 07/31/2015 8:08:00 PM PDT by WilliamIII

Washington (CNN)Republican frontrunner Donald Trump said Friday that the U.S. should only step in on Crimea if European countries ask for help and, until then, it remains "Europe's problem."

"Let me explain first of all — this is Europe's problem much more than ours, OK?" Trump told CNN during a trip to Scotland.

"And Europe isn't complaining as much as we are. But this is more of a Europe problem," Trump continued. "And when Europe comes to us and says, 'We want your help, we want your help,' but they're not really doing that. They're dealing with Russia, they're taking in the gas, they're taking in the oil — they're not really doing that. And you know, we're making a big deal out of it."

"But why isn't Germany leading this one?" Trump asked. "You know Germany is a very rich, very powerful nation. Why aren't they dealing on it moreso? Everything the United States — we're like the policeman of the world."

Hmmm. In reality it their “southern border” problem. Drugs (the topic no MSM will write about) are one of Russia’s top exports. Controlling the Crimean opens up much shorter and more direct drug routes to Europe. We can’t close or monitor their borders when we won’t even attempt to stop the drug flow through our own.

Now why won’t the media expose this? Why are the articles hidden in page behind page in search engine? Find the world maps of drug trade routes. They were available in the past

Do you think we should force China out of Tibet?

What does China have to do with Russia murdering thousands of their neighbors while rampaging through Europe with WMD?

so you’re concerned about Russia occupying its neighbor, but not about China brutally occupying its neighbor, Interesting double standard

China isn’t murdering thousands, using WMD rocket artillery on civilian targets and invading multiple countries. All while threatening nuclear war. Russia is. No “double standard” at all. Understand?

No, I’m not fixated on going to war with a country with an economy the size of Italy. Russia is a pimple on the backside of the world. All this deference to that kleptocratic mafia state is LOL worthy.

I'm concerned about that as well, and it so happens that the Chicoms have been preparing for a world war with us along with Russia. Only a fool pretends that these dictatorships are not mortal threats to the United States.

The solution is for us to prepare for war, to keep a strong military, and to be ready to slit their throats for when they come. In this way, we'll save future Tibets and Ukraines from the rape and murder these countries have forced upon them.

I'd say we have pretty much given China a 'pass' on any action they will take. Considering the large numbers of Americans they helped to kill in Korea and Vietnam.

We beat our chest when Russia does something, but that is all. And the more we get involved in Europe, the less they have to spend in defense and more they can spend on vacations and pensions. We are broke, enough foreign welfare.

” Hey, Iran is not our problem either.

Saudi Arabia? Let ISIS have it.

Japan? Let China have it.”

Couldn’t agree more . And let Mexico and SA have the USSA .

As vet of WWII and an only brother killed on Okinawa and also of Russian heritage I want more proof that the Eastern Ukraine is of any moral or strategic imperitive for the the US. Of course Soros will also disagree with me.

The victor in a war between the US, Europe, The Russian Federation and China will be the Islamic Caliphate.

Russia isn’t really a threat—but they could lead a group of other nations and be a threat. Like Russia, China, North Korea, Iran, Egypt, etc... That could be a threat.

It’s not the Russians doing the killing, Geron. It’s the neo Nazis. Guess who we’re backing?

That’s right. And I don’t want to bang my head on the ground five times a day.
Cooperate with the Russians in sending Islamacists where they want to go. Everyone wins.

The Crimea has belonged to Russia since 1783. Trump is correct the Crimea is not our problem.

Wiki

The modern history of Crimea begins with the annexation by the Russian Empire in 1783.

I have to agree with Trump on this one. We need to stop the invaders at our own borders before we worry about someone else’s.

:-) You silly. Do you read Col Pat Lang’s blog? And there are some others I think I bookmarked from some months back. It’s a mess. So is our southern border & so is the ME. Our soldiers will only go so far. We have worked them half to death.

Poland & Latvia (IIRC- don’t quote me on Latvia. It may be someone else. Slovenia or somethin) aren’t in any danger from Russia. Not sure what their deal is about. Drama queens. Another damn pipeline figures into this- I forget the story.

Outside tonight is a Blue Moon.

So it is probably appropriate that I actually agree with Donald Trump on something.

Holy cow.
