People like Donald Trump who have achieved and lived a dream life, seldom put on an act at age 69. I would be more skeptical if he was in his 40’s and 50’s. My guess is Trump is looking to turn the country around as his crowning achievement and lasting Legacy.

Everything you said is true but the good people of Virginia’s 7th district still voted for Dave Brat over Eric Cantor. It can be done, it’s just that people in McConnell and Boehner’s district are complicit in reelecting people who are toxic to the Republican party.

If Republican voters really hate their Republican leadership so much, why don’t they forbid their elected representatives from reelecting people like Boehner and McConnell into leadership positions. The voters should demand that their representatives pledge, in writing, not to support Boehner and McConnell. Post Youtube videos. Whatever it takes.

Awesome! And you’re probably living a happier life with less stress.

My husband is pretty conservative, fiscally too. He wanted to “max” out his Social Security and wouldn’t consider retiring early until I did the calculations. If he worked 17 more years (until 67), he’d pay in around $150,000 - his portion alone. With his employer’s contributions it would be $300,000! Using the 3 tiers of calculations on the SS site, he’d only get back $40,000 more for paying all that in, if he lives to the average male lifespan of 83.

Very socialized! That was the last straw, on top of all the other taxes he’s paid in to a fascist government.

He’s been here 1 month now, with no regrets ;)

If you have any advice on dividend producing stocks, we’d have open ears...
