I prefer late evening or early morning mowing. It is MUCH cooler. Of course, I have the decency to use a mechanical reel push mower which makes very little noise.
The article isn't clear if the push mower he ran over his neighbor with was hers or his. If he's freaking out over a push mower, he deserves to have the book thrown at him. If it is a gas powered push mower, though . . .

Not that it is any kind of excuse, but I suspect liquor was involved at his end.

at 7am, with a big green, smoky 2-cycle LawnBoy.
The holes I drilled in the black-pipe “muffler” make it whistle sometimes.
I do the edges next to the neighbor, half on Saturday and the other half on Sunday.
Just to give “Believers” and “Non-Believers” equal time.
