Good news though.
I doubt the guy could have gotten much more than 35K from Flint Township....if the news form Flint is any indication of local econimic conditions....
Id want a small well equipped army with me before I came near Flint these datys...and I grew up there
It’s Michigan. Still largely corrupt and incompetent.
You need an edit.
'and the lawyer would pocket the other $25,000'
I grew up in Flint township. It has grown, a lot.
I wonder if cops have errors and omission insurance?
Considering the idiocy, disrespect, illegal, and unconstitutional actions of most police, that would be very, very expensive insurance. No, most will leave it to the taxpayer to pay for their bad behavior.
When any government official (police etc) misbehaves, and the community is assessed and sued, the payout should come out of their pension fund, and not ever from taxpayers trying to save for their own retirement.
Does someone want to forward this to Mikey Moore? That’s his home town, and I’d almost bet he’s have something deeply insightful to say about this.
