Hillary Clinton Suggests Jeb Bush Has Hurt Black Americans’ Cause

Hillary Rodham Clinton issued a pointed broadside against Jeb Bush on Friday, suggesting his positions as a presidential candidate and his actions as governor of Florida had set back the cause of black Americans.

Mrs. Clinton mocked Mr. Bush’s favored slogan, “Right to Rise “ — his shorthand for a conservative-minded approach to creating opportunity and name of his “super PAC” — in a speech to a largely black audience at the annual convention of the National Urban League.

It was a striking jab given that Mr. Bush is scheduled to take the same stage later on Friday.

“I don’t think you can credibly say that everyone has a right to rise and say you are for phasing out Medicare. Or for repealing Obamacare. People can’t rise if they can’t afford health care,” Mrs. Clinton said to applause.

What strikes one about this, in particular, is that Hillary does not grasp that the early dynamics of the campaign--the very early dynamics--have already demonstrated the irrelevancy of both Mrs. Clinton & Mr. Jeb Bush. Neither has managed to resonate with the voters, despite enormous pre-campaign expectations, and a ridiculously favorable media.

Frankly, I give it a 50/50 chance that both will drop out before the first Primary, next year.

I don’t see how Jeb’s numbers do anything but continue to crater. He takes EVERY opportunity to poke the base in the eye with a sharp stick.

Hill’s going after the low-hanging fruit.

Is she talking about Lindsey Graham?
