Ashton Carter has his marching orders from Obama. Under no circumstances is he to ever refer to anything that Iran does as terrorist activity. He uses the words “maligned activity” whatever in the hell that means. Ashton Carter is a wimp. If I were him, I would resign before I would use the words “maligned activity” when referring to act of terrorism by anyone. It is as insane as calling the Fort Hood murders by a Muslim “work-place violence”.

Its actually worse than that. This administration put the presidents entire foreign policy legacy on this agreement.
They have absolutely no rational interest in verifying compliance at any level and every interest in hiding any future violations.

Cruz routinely argued before SCOTUS (and WON). He had to have great knowledge in law, mind, and cases in order to survive impromptu questioning from the Supremes.
