Cruz: Planned Parenthood a 'criminal enterprise'
Washington Examiner ^ | 7/28/15 | Ariel Cohen

Posted on 07/28/2015 3:57:41 PM PDT by markomalley

Republican presidential candidates Ted Cruz and Ben Carson led conservatives in a rally against Planned Parenthood Tuesday, following the publication of three videos detailing the organization's sale of organs harvested from aborted fetuses.

"Today the U.S. Department of Justice should open a criminal investigation into whether Planned Parenthood nationally is a criminal enterprise breaking the law," Cruz said on the lawn on the Capitol. But the Texas senator was skeptical this would happen, adding "the Obama Justice Department in acting as little more than a partisan arm of the Democratic National Committee."

Cruz is backing Sen. Mike Lee's, R-Utah, attempt to eliminate federal funding for Planed Parenthood. The measure was blocked by Senate leadership over the weekend, a move that Cruz called "altogether unacceptable."

The junior senator from Texas also called for an investigation of Planned Parenthood's local affiliates, a congressional hearing, and urged the media to stand up to Democratic candidates who support Planned Parenthood.

"I call on mainstream media to ask Hillary Clinton if she is pleased that she has so much passionate support from Planned Parenthood, an entity that appears to be a national criminal enterprise," Cruz said to much applause.

While Cruz's remarks were a hit with the crowd, for many Ben Carson was the real star of the show. His advance teamed handed out materials with the candidate's face on it.

"He says what needs to be said without fear of losing votes. He has on several occasion said things like its never wrong to do the right thing,' and we have political leaders who don't even understand what he's talking about," said Bill Hatfield, a Carson supporter who was visiting from Illinois. "He has ethics, standards and morals."

Carson also decried Planned Parenthood, expressing concern that a "politically correct society" was losing its moral bearings.

It seems like Cruz as stepped it up a few notches. When you are in the trenches all by yourself it can get depressing. I think it helps to see a guy like Trump constantly attacking and winning. It is clear to me that Cruz has stepped up his “A” game. It will not take much to launch a coup inside the pub party.

People are so pissed off that toppling the Washington Party of McConnell-Reid won’t be that hard. With a critical mass of 60-70 million voters on their side it won’t be hard at all.

The smell of fried establishment pub carcasses is the sweetest smell there is. Tens of millions can smell it and love the idea.

Cruz does not know media like Trump. He still has something to learn there. It sure looks like he is a quick study.

The biggest effect Trump has had is on guys like Santorum and Huckabee. I won’t be voting for them but its nice to see a little aggression out of them.

Things are also getting increasingly edgy in the house and senate.

Since we cannot rely on the DOJ to investigate and prosecute PP, what are the respective state DOJ’s going to do about this? Why wait, PP needs to be run out of town and its executives hung or shot.

Cruz and Santorum are the two most pro-life guys in the race.

Both would gladly and swiftly defund Planned Parenthood.

The Trump effect rubbing off on Cruz.

Trump is on Cruz-control... asleep at the wheel..
Cruz was exposing truth while Trump was still a democrat.. or a fascist..

Visibility converts to $-MONEY-$.... money is power..

"Why not after all most of the babies we are talking about would look like 'Brobama's' children."

Yes, the irony and hypocrisy is so thick you can cut it with a knife. Obama is the Racist in Chief, cynically using blacks and other minorities pitted against whites in order to destroy this country. Low-information voters unfortunately cannot think for themselves.

Combine Mark Meadows with Ted Cruze and build on it and you can dismantle the Uni-Party.

I now hate the word “Hope” but I hope the warning shot has been fired over the Bow of GOPe and finally we can take control of our runaway Government.

More like Murder, Inc.
Guess these little ones didn't make the cut!

Photobucket

Found in the trash behind an abortuary. Seems these little ones didn't make the cut! If this image disturbs or sickens you – GOOD!! It's long past time – 55 million dead later – to take an up close look at this holocaust! (Photobucket pulled this photo once before and I’m sure they will do so again.)

The entire Washington DC government is a fascist criminal enterprise. It’s time for states to start arresting these criminals. South Carolina arrested 10 of Holder’s racist goons and sentenced them to 10 to 30 years in state prison.

Absolutely. A criminal enterprise that makes a profit of a billion dollars a year.

Well by line 3 I was out of the running as a Conservative, then again I’m not running for anything... but if I was running as a a Dem/Progressive by line 3 I would be just getting my street cred, by line 4 my invites to MSM kick in and interviews and the rest of the perks just cascade after that.

No wonder Hillary is so popular with them, the more evil and twisted you are the more popular and desirable to them you become.

Remember, most if not all polls you see right now are conducted by liberals, attempting to s rear public opinion. Accuracy of said polls is in serious question.

I got a post telling me that the passage was only for Deacons and Pastors and I Said to them: Let us say you are right, then answer me this why would you want someone in the Oval Office that could not be a Deacon at his church?

One thing I like to as is the Good News is all about Grace, I think a good leader can be a man who has failed at some of the things listed, but has seen the light repented sought forgiveness and correction.
