Christians and Muslims Gang Up on Franklin Graham [Chrislam]

An evangelical pastor from Texas joined American Muslim leaders Thursday (July 23) in denouncing recent anti-Muslim comments by evangelist Franklin Graham as they announced upcoming efforts to build bridges between their religious communities. In response to the killing of five service members in Chattanooga, Tenn., last week, Graham, son of evangelical leader Billy Graham, wrote on Facebook that the U.S. should bar Muslims from immigrating.

"I was so sad when I read the Facebook posting of Franklin Graham," Bob Roberts Jr., pastor of NorthWood Church in Keller, Texas, said Thursday at a gathering on Capitol Hill. "This is not 'evangelical' and even less evangelistic. I don't want American Muslims to think we fear them or that they are our enemies."

Roberts went on to describe the contributions of the American Muslim community to protect the rights of Christians in Pakistan. Leaders from the All Dulles Area Muslim Society, the Islamic Society of North America and the Muslim Public Affairs Council, among others at the event, expressed their condolences to the deceased service members' families and highlighted the widespread denunciations of the shooting from within the American Muslim community.

"These violent acts are unjustifiable and are a gross violation especially on the 30th day of Ramadan," said ISNA President Azhar Azeez. "This is known as a month of charity, a month of mercy, a month of forgiveness..."

Islam, like an opportunistic virus, is entering the body-religio of America and Europe because we have abandoned our Christian faith. Under the guise of Chrislam, an attempt to syncretize Christianity with Islam, is taking over Christendom in America and Europe where faithful congregations used to worship. The essential concept of Chrislam is that Christianity and Islam are compatible, that one can be a Christian and a Muslim at the same time. Chrislam is not an actual religion of its own, but a blurring of the differences and distinctions between Christianity and Islam like the false prophets of ancient Israel blurred the distinction between Baal and the God of the Bible.

Chrislam is a false teaching because Christianity and Islam are diametrically opposed on all the most important issues. The Islamic Moon God, Allah, is a singular entity while the Christian God is triune (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). Muslims view Jesus Christ as a prophet while Christianity says He is God, the second member of the triune Godhead. True Christianity declares Jesus to be God incarnate and born of a virgin, while Islam says that Allah is unknowable. For Christians, the deity of Christ is a non-negotiable, for without His deity, Jesus’ death on the cross would not have been sufficient to be the atoning sacrifice for the sins of the entire world (1 John 2:2). Islam demands the death of the Infidel to atone for a Muslim's sins.

Islam adamantly rejects the deity of Christ. The Qur’an declares the idea that Jesus is God to be blasphemy (5:17). Belief in the deity of Christ is considered shirk (“filth”) to Muslims. Further, Islam denies the death of Christ on the cross (4:157-158). The most crucial doctrine of the Christian faith is rejected in Islam. As a result, the two religions are absolutely not compatible, making Chrislam a concept both Christians and Muslims should reject.

Some current proponents of Chrislam are Rick Warren, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, late Robert Schuller, Glen Beck, Tony Campolo, Brian Maclaren, Joel Osteen, and Pope Francis. Chrislamic people themselves see no problem with the basic unity of the two religions, because they say that God loves all people and wants us to love all people. President Obama's former pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright is quoted as saying, “I made it [Chrislam] comfortable for him [Obama] to accept Christianity without having to renounce his Islamic background.”

More and more it seems that the anti-Christ will rise out of Islam. It angers me to see those who claim to be followers of Christ embrace a system that hates Him. I’ve been grateful for Franklin Graham’s stand on the truth.

Ephesians 6:12
New International Version
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

The Reverend Dr. Roberts’s work email:

bobroberts@northwoodchurch.org

They seem to celebrate diversity there

White pastors, Black pastor, Mexican pastor, Girl pastor, Old pastor.

The statement of faith actually doesn’t look that bad.

Actually, I don’t think that there is any big surprise here for those of us who believe in the second coming of Christ and the prophesies of that period we call the ‘end times’. I remember years ago preachers talking about the dangers of ecumenism (which generally refers to the idea of finding harmony amongst the various ‘factions’ of Christianity and ‘interfaith pluralism’ which is finding harmony and a common ground amongst other religions. My reading of prophesy finds that references to ‘other faiths’ are somewhat lacking......not to say that there is none but it seems to be more the case of there being one large false religion (overseen by the false prophet) and one tiny remnant of true believers... who are mostly slaughtered for their faith during the Great Tribulation. If someone else’s reading of prophesy is different than mine on this issue, I’d like to hear how they came to that view.

Exactly, that explains why the bible states the Anti-Christ will be so powerful that no one can defeat them except God. No doubt we have been seeing ISIS merging other terrorist groups with them. Now imagine ALL global drug cartels along with communist sympathizers (Liberals) joining as a WHOLE. Of course, there will be a leader that will be coming out of the Middle East. No doubt we are watching the bible prophecy unfold before our eyes.

Unfortunately, yes there are Christ believers who has or will side with them. Remember even the elect will be deceived.

Church members should leave NorthWood Church in Keller, Texas as long as Bob Roberts Jr. is pastor.

I would take myself and my financial support elsewhere. Let the muslims fund his church.

Muzzies are killing Christians and destroying churches in the middle east. Has Roberts spoken out against this? What about his muzzie pals?

I love Franklin Graham. He tells it like it is.
