Jewish Democrats are very upset with Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee after he compared the nuclear deal with Iran to “marching [Israel] to the door of the oven.”
Following Huckabee’s comments, Representative for Florida and head of the Democratic National Committee Deborah Wasserman-Schultz called on him to apologize for what she called “cavalier analogies” to Nazi death camps.
“This rhetoric, while commonplace in today’s Republican presidential primary, has no place in American politics,” she said.
The National Jewish Democratic Council said in a statement, “Republicans have fallen over themselves to speak out against Donald Trump’s outrageous rhetoric on immigration and veterans. Will they now do the same and speak out against this unacceptable attack against President Obama that smears the memory of Holocaust victims … or will they stand by in silence and implicit approval?”
Huckabee’s camp was unapologetic, and highlighted the remarks in a tweet on Sunday.
“This president’s foreign policy is the most feckless in American history," Huckabee charged during an interview on the Breitbart News Saturday radio program. "It is so naive that he would trust the Iranians."
"By doing so, he will take the Israelis and march them to the door of the oven," the former Arkansas governor stated.
"This is the most idiotic thing, this Iran deal. It should be rejected by both Democrats and Republicans in Congress and by the American people. I read the whole deal. We gave away the whole store. It's got to be stopped," Huckabee said.
"As president, I will stand with Israel and keep all options on the table, including military force, to topple the terrorist Iranian regime," Huckabee, a vocal supporter of the Jewish state, vowed.

What's motivating these shrill and hysterical responses to Huckabee on the part of these Jewish Leftists is their unspoken fear, not for Israel, but that the Democrats' dominance of the American Jewish vote is eroding, and with that their own political power. Huckabee touched a raw nerve.
BTW, it's a little bit strange that Wasserman Schultz has retained her DNC chair in the wake of the Dems' blowout loss in last November's elections. She's still her shrill and neurotic self.

I understand Huckabee’s caution about this lousy Iran Deal, but i think his hyperbolic statement is a bit much. The high drama of those images can be used to ignore Mike’s real message which is Iran still cannot be trusted.

In fact, the new national director of the ADL, Jonathan Greenblatt, comes to them straight out of the Obama White House to replace the retiring Foxman. Here is a brief description of his background from an ADL Press release last year:
A social entrepreneur with extensive experience in the public and private sectors, Mr. Greenblatt has served as Special Assistant to the President and Director of the White House Office of Social Innovation & Civic Participation since 2011. In this role, he has directed the Administration’s strategies on national service, civic engagement, social finance and impact investing.
First time I recall hearing the term "social entrepreneur." Suppose it's someone who begins his start-up business as a crony capitalist with friends in Washington, like the founders of Solyndra.

I agree it sounds kind of Orwellian. But this is the Obama White House and the ADL's description of Greenblatt's job there in their press release on their new national director. Since ADL selected Greenblatt after a long search for Foxman's replacement, it speaks volumes about what the ADL has sadly become.
Agreed. We knew of ADL several years ago already when they said they were going to help some Jewish people experiencing some pretty bad employment discrimination... they assigned one of their lawyers... who promptly went incommunicado and provided zero actual help
a worthless (and deceptively so) organization. Needs a total repair, or replacement.
Doubtful anyone from the Obama ‘team’ will ever help Jews (why help those you’re trying to get rid of?) .. unless this new fellow is surprisingly different from O, we can’t imagine anywhere worse for the ADL to have recruited staff! (maybe the American Nazi Party or at the PLO ‘office’ in Ramallah or?)
