A day after Donald Trump announced the formation of “Veterans For Trump,” a small New Hampshire-based coalition that supports the bellicose business mogul’s bid for the White House, at least two of the veterans named as supporters distanced themselves from team Trump. The announcement of the veterans group came five days after Trump said Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., is only considered a war hero because he was captured by the enemy during the Vietnam War.
“I don’t know anything about it,” said Ernie Fusi, a World War II veteran whose name was still listed among the 51 veteran supporters on Trump’s campaign website on Saturday.
In a report published Friday by the Guardian, the 88-year-old resident of Atkinson, New Hampshire, said he never mentioned to anyone that he supported the New York billionaire. Fusi said he's abstaining from the Republican primary vote but that he would vote for whichever candidate emerges as the Republican nominee at the 2016 Republican National Convention in Cleveland next July.
Donald Richards, a veteran based in Laconia, New Hampshire, and his wife Connie were also named as supporters, but Richards, who is president of a local parks association, said the only connection he has to the candidate is that Trump paid his group to rent a community center for a July 17 event.

This is a different picture than the one I’ve seen posted. Seems Trump has more than one photo with Reagan, and only one with the criminal Clintons.
I still like Perry. We wouldn’t be in the state we’re in now if he were president.
I liked Walker in 2011-12 but he wasn’t running (hadn’t finished fighting and beating back the mob in Wis). I did post that he should be Perry’s VP.
Now Walker is running and I’ve been supporting him since I started posting for the 2016 race.
How long have you been a Trump fan?
I don’t know why anyone would give up on Rick Perry. He’s outpolling George Pataki.

I liked Perry in 2012, and would have voted for him over Romney. I just don’t think America is ready to elect another candidate from Texas. We need a candidate from NY, and that’s why I’m supporting, “The Rent’s Too Damned High” candidate.

You really are grasping at straws aren’t you? I don’t give a hoot who the Donald played golf with. Many celebrities cross each other’s paths on the golf course. Rush plays with liberals too. No biggie! Wow, you must have albums of photos with Trump in them. Sure, you aren’t a Trump stalker?
It hasn’t gone past me and I think when it comes to picking a winner at this point in time for the Presidential contest. FR’s should really hold off till they see the whites of their eyes (with the particular exception of Bush and Lindsey) when it come to the rest of these candidates including Trump.
Cruz took a pitch from McConnell and turned it into a bases full, out of the park home run. That is where the news focus should have been this entire weekend. On what is going on in the Senate and the b/s by McConnell.
Instead what happened ? One of Walker’s funders at the same time probably unaware or un-coordianted with what Cruz did takes a swipe at Trump. Walkers press people disclaim it. The focus is still on Cruz’s vs McConnell action.
Trump ignores the Walker presser’s no no. Claims he can’t wait for a Walker back off. But what is really happening in the news cycle is that Cruz has grabbed the headlines focused on what’s really going on in the Senate. Focused on two issues; Import Export Bank, and Baby Parts.
Trump dumps on Walker with phoney stuff also the Hill & Billy.
Poof! The attention moves from the bank issue because the GOPES and the media don’t want that IE bank issue up front. And push Trump to the front page. So we’re talking all about Trump again. Luckily the baby part issue hasn’t gone away but Cruz is off the front page and so is the IE bank issue.
Trump could have waited to bang at Walker even jumped on the IE bank issue. Instead what did he do ?
You wondered about pictures, and that made me curious.
Seems curiosity flies out the window with some FReepers.
Oh contrare. I’d love to see thousands and thousands of pictures of Walker and Perry from years gone by. Hey, I believe in equal time.
Meh, two votes gone, whatever. Now if it were 100... that would be a bad mistake.
My suggestion, if you’re so inclined to entertain it, is (as you say) to see the “whites of their eyes.”
