Polls are about shaping public opinion to match a predetermined outcome....

Otherwise what’s the point?.. except gossip..

Some honest politicians (yes, they exist!) see their job as representing their constituents and want to know what voters in their district/state think of an issue so they can properly represent the people. I have done many polls for that purpose. Some somewhat self-serving politicians want to stay in their nice jobs and poll to find out what the voters want so they can be reelected, but at least they are listening to their voters. Neither set of polls is widely reported, but both are common.

So nice to see the RINO vote divided for a change.
____________________________________________________________

Ain’t that the truth? After all these years of just one RINO in the Race, dancing to the Coronation. And, it’s not just divided, it’s divided 6 ways: Jeb, Rubio, Christie, Graham, Pataki and Kasich.

This is the most fun Election since 1984.

Snagged this from Twitter, not certain of the original source:

Cruz seems well grouped with the other "leading" candidates in terms of recognition and net favorability. It's clear Trump's support is mostly on name recognition at this point, but that below average net favorability is only going to get worse over time.

Please allow me to jump in on this Trump/Cruz thing. I’m one who thinks that Trump is plowing through the political minefield clearing the way for Cruz to walk through to the nomination when “The Donald” finally steps on a mine and his campaign is over. Cruz is a Donald Trump with intellect and finesse. I just believe when people, like me, get into that voting booth and see both names on the ballot..... Trump or Cruz.... They will ultimately choose Cruz; while all the while thanking Donald Trump for what he has contributed to this Election cycle.
