As Hillary! Craters, Democrats Search for Panic Button

Toast

It’s no longer a question of whether Hillary! Clinton will be the Democratic nominee for president in 2016; it’s only a question of when she will drop out of the race rather than face humiliation a second time:

Democrats are seeing warning signs after a new poll showed Hillary Clinton losing three swing states and deep in negative territory on questions of character. One Democratic strategist who spoke on condition of anonymity described the poll results as “the canary in the coal mine.

The poll, from Quinnipiac University, surveyed voters in Colorado, Iowa and Virginia. President Obama won all three states in both of his presidential election victories, but they went for former President George W. Bush almost as uniformly in 2004 and 2000. When the pollsters tested Clinton against leading Republican contenders Sen. Marco Rubio (Fla.), former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, she lost every state to every opponent.

Among the most alarming findings, from a Democratic perspective, was the indication that Clinton, widely considered the party’s front-runner, would lose Colorado by 9 points to Walker and would lose by at least 6 points to any of the three candidates in Iowa. Hank Sheinkopf, a New York-based Democratic consultant who has worked with Clinton in the past but is not involved with her current campaign, described the findings as “absolutely dangerous” for the party.

Losing a state like Colorado by nine points to Scott Walker (who will be the GOP standard-bearer in 2016) would mean an electoral disaster for the Democrats is in the offing. If it’s not close in Colorado or Iowa, it means the Democrats would likely lose every swing state, including Walker’s own Wisconsin, and be confined to their electoral ghettos in New England and on the West Coast.

But it is not just the head-to-head match-ups where Clinton struggles. Other findings are also poor for her, including on the question of whether voters trust her. Those results seem ominous given that the former first lady has been in the public eye for around a quarter-century, making impressions of her more difficult to change. She has also struggled on questions of honesty before.

The Quinnipiac poll showed Coloradans asserting by an almost 2-1 margin that Clinton was not honest or trustworthy: 62 percent said she was not, whereas only 34 percent she was. The findings were not much better in either Iowa or Virginia. Respondents distrusted Clinton 59 percent to 33 percent in the former, and 55 percent to 39 percent in latter.

Crazy as it seemed only a couple of months ago, look for both Al Gore and John Kerry to start testing the waters by the fall. Now, Democrats are running around with their hair on fire.

And yet, there is a serious number of lib voters that say right now they would vote for her over any Pubbie, regardless of what she is shown to be doing.

I know that to be true with my BIL, his bolshevik wife and my wife’s New Deal uncle. No matter who is running on either side, none of them will ever pull the lever for a Republican.

rather than a big budget surplus in Minnesota, they now are looking at a $2+ Billion deficit.

Why are you surprised? Minnesota's governor is Mark Dayton. He's DFL (that's Minnesota-speak for Democrat).

The only demographic group Hillary appears to be winning is the bitter mother-in-law demo.

And the b*tch-slapped, p-whipped, sackless beta vote.

...hmm, which is why the GOP-e is positively TERRIFIED of her. (Like the infamous "frog in a blender" from JoeCartoon.com, where the frog insults you before the blender speeds up: "No...balls.")

Yeah, Hill.

We’ve gone *downhill*.

Let’s repeal several amendments, and only allow male property holders to vote.

And remove the income tax.

And go back to election of US Senators by their respective state houses.

And resume punishing treason with death.

The Hildabeast from Hell is in free fall, she will never get past the primaries and will never be president.

And she will, as I've stated before, go to her grave cursing the name of Osama Bin Laden...

Rats don’t have to worry about motivating their core voters. Things with no mass are very easy to move.

Wow! I REALLY screwed up this time. I really MEANT to say Wisconsin. In his Saturday speech in Iowa, Trump enumerated several reasons why he’s become disappointed in Walker. One BIGGIE is Common Core, which Walker has tried to wriggle out of since the fecal matter impacted the ventilating equipment.

Trump also said that instead of a surplus, WISCONSIN would run a $2+ Billion deficit. I can’t really say what’s the case in Minnesota. Profuse apologies for the senior moment.

Anyone who spouts the "$2+ Billion deficit" line is either a lib stooge or is totally fooled.

That number comes from summing up all the money every agency requested for the then-upcoming budget. Like over six months ago. Everybody, even the lying libs, know it was a phony attack. Of course, that doesn't stop them (and you) from making the attack.

The news is that the actual budget is in, and signed (a few weeks ago) and guess what - the folks asking for the crazy increases to their budgets didn't get them. As everybody knew way back when the claim was first made.

Sorry, this only outs you (and anybody else that spouts this) as a lib, a liar, or very uninformed.

You just KNOW something is afoot when you see NO ‘Hillary!’ bumper stickers in, ‘The People’s Republic of Madistan.’

I have already seen a handful of Bernie Sanders bumper stickers, though!

ok, let’s discuss the dilemma.......algore or johnkerry?

big al is old and fat and happy. he knows nothing except the sky is falling. he will not run

that leaves kerry who most know served in vietnam, and got his ass handed to him in Vienna. the process in addition to being a supreme negative, has sapped his strength. Kerry can not run

the wonderful fact of history is that all democrats know that the black plague in the white house destroys the chances of any democrat to win the presidency in 2016. No sane Democrat of substance will even try

The Rats know that Obozo has left enough land mines behind him in office to cripple our nation after he leaves, and the new President will be blamed for all of it.

I have already heard one of his metrosexual supportors say, "it is a great deal if the next POTUS can keep it enforced." Also heard BO answer the question, "this will enable Iran to get the nuclear bomb after a few years? Not on my watch," he exclaimed.
