Turkey says parts of Syria to become 'safe zones' (25 Mile Buffer Zone)

Turkey has said areas in north Syria cleared of fighters belonging to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) group will become safe zones.

Saturday’s announcement made by Mevlut Cavusoglu, the Turkish foreign minister, came after Ankara announced it had begun bombing ISIL positions in Syria and and Kurdish fighters' camps in northern Iraq.

"When areas in northern Syria are cleared of the (ISIL) threat, the safe zones will be formed naturally," Cavusoglu told a news conference.

The conflict in Syria has displaced more than 10 million people, with many residing in makeshift camps near the Turkish border. These areas have been targeted a number of times by Syrian military bombardment. The Turkish government has repeatedly called for the setting-up of safe zones to protect these people.

Several Turkish media outlets had earlier reported the government was considering setting up a 33km-wide safe zone inside Syria, stretching from the outskirts of Kurdish-held Kobane to areas controlled by pro-Western rebel groups

IMO, Turkey is using ISIS as an excuse to take out the Kurds in Syria.

The "Safe Zone" just happens to encompass the areas controlled by the YPG and other Kurdish groups.

Saudi Arabia is pissed at the Iran deal.

Moreover, they sided with Israel embarrassing Obama

ISIS is Saudi Arbai’s proxy force.

Turkey has now attacked ISIS. They have made a lot of arrest and attacked ISIS with air strikes.

In other words Turkey I has sided with the United States.

They are attacking Saudi Arbia’s proxy force, ISIS, in order to warn Saudi Arbaia to shut up.

“Turkey is using ISIS as an excuse to take out the Kurds in Syria”

obama probably gave them the green light with a wink and a nod,

Evil times are here,

Johnny Turk always knew how to sort out the Arabs.

We should be looking at a deal here.

The US should follow Turkey’s lead and make a 25 mile “buffer zone” in mexico.

The Turks were surprised, even stunned, by the recent ISIS bombings in Turkey, as they had supported ISIS against the Kurds (how'd that turn out?).

Assad of Syria (now just a puppet of Iran; both are clients of Russia) has for some time been collaborating with ISIS, jointly attacking al Qaeda and other old-school rebel factions inside Syria. Iran supplies Hamas, Hamas supplies the jihadists in the Sinai and in attacks in Egypt proper.

Iran supports the attempted overthrow of the gov't of Egypt. Iran sponsored the overthrow of the regime in Yemen and continues to support the Houthi jihadists in Yemen.

These are goals the Iranian mullahcracy shares with Zero and his cadre -- even Zero's lack of support of the Kurds is obvious.
Speaking of shared goals:

There are between two and three million Palestinians.

There are between 50 and 60 millions Kurds on the borders of of Iran, Iraq , Syria And Turkey.

Dash gum it....the Palestinians deserve a two state solution. /sarc
