Trumpeting The Donald (builds solid ground game in New Hampshire)
bostonherald.com ^ | Matt Stout

Beyond the bluster, Donald Trump is building a battle plan to win the ground game in first-in-the-nation primary state New Hampshire — networking with local activists and relying on a campaign manager with Granite State roots.

“In terms of Trump reaching out to activists and grass-roots people — or whatever you call us — they have done that,” state Rep. Pam Tucker, a Greenland Republican who has remained neutral in the race. “He is doing the background work. ... They have county chairs in every county. That doesn’t happen overnight.”

At the core of the key primary effort is Corey Lewandowski, Trump’s $20,000-a-month national campaign manager — a 1995 University of Massachusetts Lowell grad who still lives in Windham, N.H.

Heavily funded with a billionaire candidate in the field, the Trump troops are energized by his top-of-the-polls status and rock-star rallies.

“You have all these political pundits who say this or that about the campaign. But they cannot deny the fact that Mr. Trump has the best crowds, the most enthusiastic support,” Lewandowski said. “But it’s not just been a series of events.”

I see that onetime Texas Gov Perry who recently said Donald
was a "cancer" on the Repub party has flopped down to 4%.

Ay carumba. Maybe loser Perry shoulda wore his nifty
Mexican sombrero and matching serape when he said that.

“He is doing the background work. ... They have county chairs in every county. That doesn’t happen overnight.”

Simple confirmation that so many Freepers are right, Trump is going to drop out, giving his voters to Cruz.

QUICK--SPRAY THE AIR FRESH--Obama is having involuntary bowel movements at the mention of the name "Trump." John McCain and Mitch McConnel are GOPeeing all over the Senate.

W/ Donald at the top of the polls, other candidates are reacting unfavorably:

Hillary is ordering double-duty Depends.

Bernie Sanders is burning copies of "Das Kapital."

Lindsey Graham is having fainting spells.

Chris Chrisie is wasting his lapband w/ compulsive eating.

Jeb is erasing his name from the book "Crown Princes of US Politics."

George Pataki is up in Dannemora looking for an escape route.

This is good. Trump might well win New Hampshire outright. Walker should do well in Iowa and the midwest in general. Cruz should be strong in the south. Now let's say Trump pulls in some of those northeastern delegates, from New Hampshire, Maine, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania. Who is he taking them from? Cruz? Not a chance. Walker? Maybe some, and he endangers any momentum Walker gets out of Iowa. John Ellis Bush? Yup. He's not so much taking the votes from Bush, as demoting Bush to second or third place by taking from the Fiorinas and Christies in the race.

Now, late in the game, with Trump, Cruz and Walker having a large majority of votes collectively, with John Ellis Bush at 3rd or 4th in delegates, someone will drop out. If Rubio beats John Ellis Bush in Florida, Bush is done. If not, Rubio is done. Rubio MIGHT throw delegates to Bush, but I wouldn't count on it. Walker has already telegraphed that the VP spot is Rubio's if they stay on good terms. Cruz has positioned himself to inherit any delegates that Trump has, especially as his rhetoric has pivoted to straight conservative "good government" populist from conservative Republican.

The main danger is Cruz being discounted before South Carolina, as Rand Paul will still get at least high single digits in New Hampshire no matter what. If Cruz doesn't finish in the Top three in Iowa, and doesn't finish in the top five in New Hampshire (Trump, Walker, Rubio, Paul, and Bush can all finish ahead of him in the Grante State), SC might go with Walker or Rubio.

A #2 finish in SC should be enough to get Cruz to SC, though, and if he wins there, he is set up VERY well for Super Tuesday. If Bush can be shut out of wins until then, he's through. He might even pull out before Florida if that's needed for Rubio to remain competitive.

Not sure I see how you draw that conclusion from "He is doing the background work. ... They have county chairs in every county. That doesn’t happen overnight."

Help me out a bit.

Trump has county chairs in every NH county.

The Trump name commands action.

When a doer like Trump snaps his fingers----things happen quickly.

(They hear the name Cruz---they say "who.")

Yep - I started out liking Perry, but he showed his true "bow to the Left and government tyranny" when he blew so much smoke about how Texas was going to defend her borders despite the inaction of the Feds and then caving in and going silent w/o taking any action. He's the cancer here.

I can only imagine that Trump will build a powerful organization. He knows how to hire the right people and he’s got the money to do so.

Nails it.....Perry in a nutshell...a rancid nutshell.

I don’t follow that either. This seems confirmation Trump is in it for the long haul.

So right.....the man is a doer.

Other candidates do not even come close.

I imagine Donald realized the meeting w/ user Cruz was an attempt by Cruz to grab some of the Trump aura....didn’t happen.

Cruz bottomed out w/ loser Perry.

The ‘Donald Trump Act’ Passed The House By A Landslide,
And Obama Doesn’t Like It...

Donald Trump was aloft---watching the news of Kate's killing on his plane.....a reporter said the enraged Donald looked as if he was going to pop a vein upon hearing the arrogant Obama never even bothered to call Kate’s family.

DHS's Jeh Johnson showed his monumental ignorance---said he never heard of her. Fruitcake Cong Guiterrez referred to Kate as “one little death” that did not deserve to influence sanctuary policies.

=====================================================

HIGH TIME FOR OBAMA, GUTIERREZ, and JEH
JOHNSON, TO REGISTER AS FOREIGN AGENTS

JULY 2014---Plotting the overthrow of the US govt
w/ Central American federales in the White House.

President Salvador Sanchez Ceren of El Salvador, left,
President Otto Perez Molina of Guatemala, second left,
and President Juan Orlando Hernandez of Honduras, right.

===================================================

DO THIS NOW---CONTACT CONGRESS HERE:
http://www.contactingthecongress.org/

DEMAND CONGRESS SEND YOU THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION:

HOW DID THE LIB/ZITS: (1) OBAMA'S DHS, (2) SAN/FRAN MAYOR LEE, and, (3) SAN/FRAN BD OF SUPERVISORS DISPERSE FEDERAL TAX DOLLARS?

<><> A. How many tax dollars were allocated "to protect Americans from illegal felons"?

<><> B. How many tax dollars were spent "to secure and manage our borders," and "reduce the number of illegal immigrants and amount of contraband getting into the United States"?

<><> C. How many tax dollars were spent to "enforce and administer immigration laws"?

<><> D. How many tax dollars were spent "to provide safe and secure detention of illegal immigrants in federal custody if they are a flight risk or a public safety concern"?

INCONVENIENT FACTOID: All of the above are specific goals
enumerated by DHS' Jeh Johnson when asking Congress for $42
BILLION---needed to run his agency.

Yesterday I attended a funeral in the NE Ohio area (my old hometown).
Three different (liberal idiot union) family members sought me out and went on rants about Trump.
I’m starting to think he’s the guy to run America.
