From the article..
“I don’t think the Democrats would have done that,” Trump said.”

“I do think I want to roll the dice a little bit more in this situation towards subsidized housing” Barney Frank(Democrat). I could go on with more and more examples of Democrats pushing the housing bubble.

Trump has his fans. I think he’s a fraud,myself.

Mr. Trump, look up Barney Frank. That was a Democrat deal and Bush happened to come in as President.

Trump is anything but ideological. I honestly don't think he KNOWS what "Democrats" or "Republicans" stand for or what a lot of their core ideologies are. He's total seat of the pants businessman, if it works, use it. If it doesn't don't.

This won't satisfy Freepers who long for an ideologically pure candidate. Personally, I'm pretty comfortable with him, especially since he is the ONLY Republican who so far can get away with telling the media and the Left off on any issue and not only getting away with it but prospering.

I keep saying, if he and I agree on 3/10 issues---but the only three he focuses on are mine---I could care less what he thinks about the other seven.

Except for a very few childish groupies, all I’ve seen is the claim that he is more conservative than such leaders as Boehner and McConnell.
Which is a very low standard- but true.

But you so miss the point....when Jorge (as you say) did all those things, he was teaming with DEMOCRATS to get them done...meaning Trumps comment that Democrats would not have caused that is just as idiotic as I said it is.

Jorge made mistakes, but they were always being too much like Democrats. And BTW, to Jorge and Juan (McCain)s credit - and I cannot stand either of them - they both tried to call out Fannie and Freddie in 2005-6-7 - but were not successful. Again, Jorge is not running. Juan is not running. But someone who doesn’t understand what caused the crash is....and his name is Trump .

The smart candidates will see Donald as a Blocking Fullback for the time being. I agree that he is talking a talk that needs to be said and run the media gauntlet.

I hope me makes the debates, but again, like you, i would prefer Cruz or Walker. Either as P or VP would be fine by me.

He's already walking back the statement that he will not run as third party. Now he needs to be treated with Great Respect.

Wonderful. Ross Perot III.

And now all the Trump fanboys will explain how this will not help the Clinton Clan take over the White House again.

“...he was never a Bush fan.”

I voted for George W. Bush in 2000 and 2004.

George W. Bush lost me for good when (1) he said, “See you at the signing,” meaning his amnesty crap and (2) when he called Islam a “religion of peace.” More like a “religion” of pieces.

Two members of the Bush family as president are enough.

I like Trump spanking the GOPe, but Ted Cruz is still my Number 1 choice.

So let me translate your logic.....you will gladly support someone more liberal than most RINOS simply because that person has the ability to get under the skin of most RINOs, as well as the Jurassic media and the libs.

Okay. 3 out of 10? Damned low bar. And BTW, your “purity” comment is beneath contempt. 3/10 is not only impure, it’s PERVERTED and POISONED and POLLUTED.

Wonderful. Ross Perot III.

Conservatives have been divorced from the Republican Party for some time now. Eventually, if we're ever to reclaim this country, we'll either need a conservative third party or a credible threat of one to move the Republican Party to the right where it belongs. The key word, of course, is conservative, which rules out Trump.

That’s almost word for word what he said a few years ago...”I identify AS a Democrat.” Clearly this shyster hasn’t changed.

It’ll be interesting to see the attempts to spin and minimize this. Although when a Freeper tells you she knows he’s a Dem and she would vote for him anyway, even if he’s pro-abortion, nothing will surprise me.

Let's see, in two weeks we've had A: compassionate conservative and B: new tone and C: third party threat and now D: doesn't comprehend the liberal Democrat crap that caused the crash.

It's always interesting to see the fools when the fool's gold is exposed. BTW, for the past month, that includes el Rushbo......who was never fooled by Perot for a second. I think wife #4 has dulled the senses....

That’s almost word for word what he said a few years ago...”I identify AS a Democrat.”

And, as you well know, that's how he was registered from 2001-09, when he supported Obama for President. It does make you wonder, doesn't it?

As much as I despise Boehner and McConnell, I cannot allow a comment that equates their blame to that of liberal Democrats go unchallenged. You need to take that back or give evidence.

He probably does understand. He has said self serving things in the past that he just needs to reconcile with his current positions.
Some people like Trump because they think he says what he means. It may just be that he says whatever he wants.
