You’ve nailed it in your analysis of Beck’s show.
I’ve tried listening to his show a couple of times, and as you’ve observed, if there isn’t a commercial, we’re treated to these three clowns laughing at something the listeners are oblivious to.
Beck is a Drama Queen and lightweight in talk radio.
Does this mean that Huffington and Beck have joined hands?
Pat was in Houston for a few years and it was hard for him to do one show without mentioning “my good friend, Glenn Beck”. Then the station told him to knock it off. He went to a much smaller station and started talking “beck” again. Not long before Beck hired him.

I haven’t listened to him since he left Fox, but I have to admit when he was on Fox, I learned many names and the actions of many people not covered by LSM.
There was one thing he did on the radio....
He had a little ditty singing...”Just another isolated incident”...when something predictably wrong would go wrong.
Then reading about him, looks as though he went around the bend.
Beck, like Faux News, throws conservatives an occasional bone to keep them riveted.
