I’d rather see Cruz get TPA right, even if it’s late, than support a candidate who has flipped on health care, life and taxation since his declared support for the other party just seven years ago.

But do love your tag.

Speaking for myself, I don’t want a boy scout for president, I want the bull in the china shop, Trump.

Be careful what you wish for.

O took the nuclear treaty with Iran to the UN by passing the GOP controlled Senate. A clear unmistakeable violation of our Constitution. These days I think we need to rely more on our selves then the Constitution, which is clearly being ignored by the professional politicians in DC. The checks and balances are gone, perhaps they can be restored but the first order of business to purge the privileged class in DC. If that is not done states will start to secede.

Folks,
Ronaldus Magnus didn’t going around being bombastic and insulting. He was polite but pointed, conservative, principled and smart. Let Trump be Trump, he’ll flame out but is so doing he is doing alot of good helping frame the debate with the left. He won’t win the nomination or the presidency if nominated - he just won’t. Trump supporters have start thinking with their brain, not their heart or emotions.

Reagan showed the conservative path to victory. It’s still possible because conservative ideas work and conservative values are good. That path will not be traveled by Jeb or Marco or Trump or several others in my opinion.

Choose wisely.

Supported Hillary, Gillebrand, Menendez, Weiner... the list goes on. He is right on immigration and every other issue is suspect.

Just pray some foreign leader doesn't make fun of his hair; he might "fight back" by releasing classified info to the leader's enemies.

Not sure I understand the question but I’ll give it a go.

Democrats are evil human garbage. Republican liberals are evil human garbage. People that support either group are evil human garbage. To the core. Anti American scum of the highest order, the lot of them.

We have the most conservative man in 30 years running for president and all starstruck conservatives can do id hang their hopes on a Hillary/Rangle donating Ex Democrat/Ex Indipendent/Questionable Republican.

According to Norm Lenhart, directly, we should elect conservatives instead of blowing smoke up our own asses every two years trying to race to the front of the liberal line with proven frauds. If we did that instead of finding excuses why we can’t, we’d all still live in America.

Does that explain it sufficiently?

He got lucky to get a second chance on TPA.

I am a single issue voter and (illegal) immigration is my issue, so Cruz, Paul (maybe Carson) are acceptable to me. I don't think Cruz, Paul, etc have a chance at being the nominee so Trump currently has my support. In fact I prefer Trump to the others since the others will need Chamber of (cheap labor) Commerce money to fund their campaigns. That money comes with a price. Trump on the other hand does not need a dime in donations.

Probably, as soon as he stops the internationalists, corporatists, and amnesty advocates from destroying America.

Well, given Trump's use of overseas labor & his favoring of amnesty, I wouldn't hold my breath.

None of that matters right now. It just goes to show you how totally out of touch the GOPe is with the Republican base, that a guy that actually backed Hilary and a host of Democrats was able to rise to the top in the GOP primaries merely by saying what needed to be said abouts the horrendous crimes being committed against innocent American citizens by these Mexican illegals. I'll tell you one thing I'd vote for Donald Trump over Jeb Bush or Marco Rubio one million times out of a million. Having Jeb Bush in the White House would be tantamount to opening the borders even wider, and letting the Mexican invaders run riot on a crime spree in this country. It will be open season on American an lives. After all this is the guy that calls the Mexican illegal alien invasion an “act of love”.

I’ve got an idea. Find a candidate smarter than Trump, funnier than Trump, more persuasive than Trump, give him the hot button issues to talk about...

BTW this candidate has to be a household name and a self-made billionaire...

Mitt Romney and Romneycare, and it’s one of the main reasons I hated Romney.

It’s as simple as this... if you want to replace Obamacare with full on socialist free Universal Healthcare, then support Trump.

Yes, I appreciate and like the response.

In your previous posts, it appeared, to me, that you [”Norm”] were holding out some appearance of “appeasement” - and THAT as it opposes American exceptionalism - in regards to other Pubbie candidates. I have been known to be wrong.

I’m solidly on the side of Trump/Cruz/Walker who can lead conservatives into the primaries, rhetorically. Any will be likely to make a critical difference.
Unfortunately, many will only see the MSM-created “extremism of the Republican candidates” and shy away hoping for a McCain-like campaign.

All I recommend to my friends and family is...stop watching the nightly news for the base of your information. Even Meagan Kelly manipulates her message. No one is immune...

To a single person, I would say (hyperbolic) that these appeasers fear being slaughtered by the jihadists and will “turtle-neck” their way into survival.

We, as a group should remain open to all conservative candidates.
If Trump opens the door for Cruz:
If Cruz’s support of Trump opens a door for a Trump/Cruz, Cruz/Trump ticket;
If Both Cruz and Trump continue to point to Walker opening other doors;

Let’s not snipe at each other regarding who is “best” (the proverbial “win at all cost” mindset). Let’s take them all to the finish line in the summer of 2016 and let the chips fall.

If one is a conservative, one supports the person showing through deed, the most conservatism. It’s how it works. How it always used to work.

Until ‘conservatives’ started this ‘lesser evil’ act like Democrats voting idiocy and Charlie Sheen WINNING! with liberals that resulted in Mitt Romney, John Bhoner and Turtlehead.

Cruz is that man. Rock solid conservative well into the high 90th percentile lifetime by ANT measure poll or standard.

Edd of.

Will Trump soon go back to being a Democrat, financing Democrats, and following their philosophy?
IOW join in with the rest of the GOP?

WELL SAID.

Trump gratifies people who are angry and frustrated with American government. Trump satisfies people who are willing to assume and/or project political positions to/on Trump. They don't know where he actually stands on Obamacare, but because he is angry the way they are at government, they assume that he's against it. They don't know where he actually stands on the 2nd Amendment, but because he talks back to MSM types, they assume that Trump is for it.

Meanwhile, TED CRUZ has from the start been honest, clear, and outspoken as a GENUINE AUTHENTIC limited government Constitutionalist Christian conservative. EXACTLY what America needs. He's not perfect -- no one is -- but he's OBVIOUSLY a hell of a lot more "perfect" than showman chameleon Trump.

Norm, the Republican party earned the very accurate and telling nickname of "the Stupid party."

One might even say that Trump may or may not be in the right party as a Republican ... but for sure, Cruz is in the WRONG party. The Republican party is "the Stupid party." It's the wrong party for Cruz anymore, and the wrong party anymore for us, as well. It is the Stupid Party and as such, has guys like Trump and Jeb as top dogs.
