First, Trump is calling for all American flags to be flown at half-staff to honor the five military members who were killed in the Chattanooga, Tennessee shooting last week by a “devout Muslim,” as CNN described the shooter.
Second, Trump is establishing a hotline and email address for veterans to share their stories on how the Veterans Administration should be reformed. He pledges that if elected president he will take care of the veteran complaints “very quickly and efficiently like a world-class businessman can do, but a politician has no clue.”
The hotline is 855-VETS-352 and email is veterans@donaldtrump.com.
Trump stated, “This disgraceful omission is unacceptable and yet another example of our incompetent politicians. It is a simple yet meaningful and important gesture that signifies our respect and recognition for these great soldiers who lost their lives. We must do better for all Americans, especially our military. We must Make America Great Again!”

I meant “stealing” in a good way. I could have said Trump is masterfully focusing attention on immigration and vets. I like to say stealing. Somehow I enjoy the idea that he is able to steal the attention from candidates who do not deserve it in the first place.
It is sort of like saying stealing candy from a baby. My impression is that when it comes to media Trump knows how to make the MSM play his tune.

Donald Trump could win the Presidency right now, if he used his properties as staging areas for Veterans on any kind of waiting list, to stay at his hotels until the doctors he hires to see them, and get the tests, procedures and medications these Vets need right now, out of his own pocket...

Called the trump o#ice today and left a message. He mentioned today for people not to send him their contributions. I suggested he use them to help the vets. Wish I had thought to suggest he could hire vets to men the lines.
Maybe others could get the message to him.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he did something like that. Actually it would be almost as good or even better if he just assigned his attorneys to take on the VA in the really egregrious cases. He hires the best and if any group of people needed representation by a set of junkyard dogs, vets are it.

Call me cynical as to why he is doing this, but a win is a win. This is the first action he's taken that will help the country, so I give him credit for that. I have friends who have to go to the VA, and it's no picnic. There are some people who work there that do a good job, but overall it's a giant mess. And it really, really shouldn't be.
This is a pretty smart move.

Today in the congressional hearing two people mentioned Trump by name. They told of their frustration. No one had listened in years of trying. “Trump got results in two minutes !”
About the VA thing?
My voting age granddaughters are TRUMP all the way (CA residents) along with sons, (also CA residents) and my hairdresser (who's age 30) and her husband are solid TRUMP, but I convinced her yesterday to go CRUZ if Trump is not on our Mississippi ballot by the time we get to vote.
As far as I can tell, Mr. Donald Trump has a *yuge* youth vote, including blacks I personally know here. They despise Mexicans and we are not inundated with illegals. They want jobs and truly believe that Donald Trump will be a job creator.
MSM and Mr. Trump's rivals are making a *yuge* mistake by blasting him: they're only solidifying his supporters.
I don't know if he's gaining new supporters....

My BIL goes to the VA. The wait is long. He says once you actually get to see a doctor the care is good. Its the wait that is killing our guys.
