73 was the year it all went south

I'd say it was 67...the Chevy II.

After that, everything had to get huge for some reason, Camaros, Mustangs, muscle cars. They became sedan-sized platforms with "sporty looking" body styles.

Yes but but 67 brought all the big motors to the Nova and cheaper than the Boo or Chevelle

But you’re right a 65/66 Nova was small and lighter and with that 327/350 motor was a Goat grabber in sheeps clothing

Alas my folks wouldn’t allow me to buy a power car when I came of age in 72

Hence an MGBGT

Now I get tempted on occasion

Last week I looked at a 70 Dodge Dart 340 Swinger

Non numbers fairly cheap

My wife rolls her eyes I’m being silly
