Am I the only one who has noticed that Donald Trump stole Ronald Reagan's c campaign slogan from 1980?

Eh, these slogans are typically recycled quite often.
How many times do we hear “Let’s take our country back” from both sides?
I don’t really see this as Trump stealing a slogan. Probably 50 campaigns will use some version of that in 2016 if you count Congressional races. It’s a generic, positive sounding message that’s probably been used 1000 times.

He’s no dummy so maybe he did lift it.
It is a rather main line thing to say though. It could have been a natural occurrence.

I still have my Bob Dole big yellow circle sign that reads “15%”. I offer that to any candidate who would like to borrow it. Of course we are so far away from talking about tax cuts because of all the massive growth of government that has happened since then I’m sure no one wants it. Sad!
