The rest of the Republican field is desperate, and no, Trump should not be disqualified for responding to criticism against him by McCain.

Rick Perry shot his wad, in his attempt to become the Republican presidential candidate.
He is entitled to his opinion, but he needs to be somebody’s waterboy, for right now.
Trump says what he will, as that is him and his style, and how he has conducted himself for years.
I am a military veteran of the Vietnam War. P.O.W.’s are a fact of war, when both sides are under Geneva Convention edicts, i.e., WW2. In Korea and Vietnam, the North Korean/ChiComs and the North Vietnamese were not existent, when those edicts were devised, and have not signed onboard. Therefore, the P.O.W.’s were propaganda bargaining chips for Soviet disinformation, information extraction, or dead. The U.S. government did not attempt to do anything, until the pressure was put on the negotiators at the several peace talks. Therefore, the P.O.W.’s survived the ordeal, but did nothing notable to be heroes.
I suggest that the readers research the Uniform Code of Military Justice, because it dictates what the actions of P.O.W.’s should be.
McCain is no hero, just a surviving P.O.W.
I like Trump because he is administering punches-in-the-nose to those who have so richly deserved it for so very, very long.

What are the rules for disqualification? Hard to believe Perry is that dumb. Maybe that IQ statement by Trump was in order.
McCain has been at the bottom rung of every ladder he ever stood on. He was at the bottom of his class at Annapolis, was generally known there and after as being a lazy showoff, no-doubt figuring the rules didn't apply to him due to the status of his father and grandfather. He crashed several airplanes after he graduated and some allege he may have played a role in that horrible fire that killed all those people on the aircraft carrier. It is certainly reasonable to ask whether he would have been captured at all if he were a more competent aviator.

Perry should be disqualified because of his low IQ.

Gov. Rick Perry should take a second look at exactly what Trump had to say about McCain, before he sends him on a time out for a year or two.
Perry is among a legion of GOPe and others who are scared to death of Trump. I like Perry for what he has done for the State of Texas, but he is too afraid of having to face Donald Trump in the Republican choice to run for POTUS.
That is too bad because Trump is my choice for the Republican Party. Our country is already a third world nation; we need to get back to being the best country in the world.
It also goes to show you that ANYONE can be elected pResident.

McCain’s ONLY PURPOSE in the Republican Party has been to make other Republicans look bad, and with that to hand political power to the Democrats (he weakened Bush-43 so much he nearly lost the election, for example - and Amnesty and “Campaign Finance Reform” speaks for themselves). Great how he appeared to behave in ‘nam, but he more than made up for it in TEARING DOWN THIS COUNTRY
Not much of a ‘hero’ to me.
I wish that ex governor would go after Obama and libs as vigorously as he is going after Trump.
