I’m kind of compelled to a contrarian view.
If the Iranians were really close to nukes, Obama would want a deal so as not to be at the table when to first test goes off. With that Obama knows the media will dutifully praise him. (WIN for Obama)
If that above is true. Obama knows the Israeli’s might well take matters into their own hand, conducting an air strike that will set Iran back years. Obama will condemn this air strike. ( WIN for Obama)
With the Israeli air strike, the particulars of deal will no longer matter. Obama and the media will decry that Obama’s deal was...never given a chance. ( WIN for Obama)
With all that Obama will punish Israel which is high on his agenda. ( WIN for Obama)
Otherwise, what if, Israel doesn’t strike. Is this deal soo sweet because the unspoken agreement is Iran has agree not to test a nuke. ie: Obama to Iran: listen you can have it, just don’t test or acknowledge it (like Israel’s policy, no tests, never acknowledged). (WIN for Obama)

Am painstakingly listening to Obama now speak about this iran deal live...
Keeping in mind under the deal he has to speak to the people (US) and promote this as a good deal. Of course he thinks so anyway because he wants this under his belt before he leaves office.
I’m listening because i want to see his behavior as he speaks...so far he is showing defined behavior and speech he’s opposing our Congress...and it’s he and the rest of the world against our congress and us.
He’s a b*stard and that’s all there is to it....he has no concern whatsoever of what our children will face in ten years and thereafter, not to mention this is only IF Iran stays with the program...and we know they won’t.
When I first moved to the Tri Cities (Richland, Kennewick, & Pasco) in 1978 the town was crawling with Iranians who were our nation’s allies at that time. Then the Shah gets over-thrown with the help of Jimmah Cahtah, Khomeini comes to power and they recall all of their citizens.
Why is this important, the Tri-Cities is home of the Hanford Nuclear Reservation where plutonium was produced and extracted for US weapon systems. So one would think that they went home to work on developing nuclear material for their country. I’m sure there was some resistance by them but surely they wouldn’t kill, torture, or imprison all of these folks.
Ok, you've flat out got my admiration caww... I can't listen to him more than a few minutes at a time... But yeah - like you - I get the same feeling - it's him against us... "Us" being American citizens.
Most are located in North Korea anyway ...
People still think that Iran can be “deterred”.
SA doesn’t like Israel that much as to openly fight alongside them.
