LA RAZA BUND schools stress Latino culture, the Spanish language, the re-conquest of the American Southwest, the establishment of the mythical Atzlan on US soil, and even Aztec math.

Does La Raza actually use the term "Bund" to describe itself or its educational arm?

"Bund" is a German word which literally means "league" or "federation" in its most benign sense. But in pre-WWII America, it was most commonly used to refer to a quite extensive network of Nazi supporters, usually of German ancestry.

So no one should be surprised if "La Raza," racist as is indicated by its name ("The Race"), stole the name "Bund" from the pro-Nazi group of yesteryear. Not sure if that's what happened, but it would be consistent with all we know about La Raza. And what we know about La Raza's agenda is consistent with the agenda of today's national Democrat Party.

‘Bund’ was used by Jews too, especially Polish Jews who came to America. Common in older Yiddish literature.
