Wow, thanks for the info. That parent not wanting to accept the fact that her lifestyle led her son to the place he is today. I understand that bad kids can be born out of good homes, too, but there’s a high probability that’s gonna happen when there is no guidance and supervision.

The Smith J frames can have a somewhat stout trigger pull, but with practice you should be OK. I got Mrs.Slim a 351PD Smith, which is a 7 shot .22 Magnum. She does not like recoil, and this gun, despite weighing under 11 ounces, has very little.

The Hornady Critical Defense ammo clocks out the short barrel at slightly over 1000 feet per second and performs well with good penetration and bullet weight retention.
