Earth heading for 'mini ice age' in just 15 years, scientists say
UPI ^ | Updated July 11, 2015 | Doug G. Ware

Solar scientists predict that the Earth will enter a "mini ice age" around 2030 due to decreased activity by the sun, which will bring with it frigid cold winters. The last time the Earth experienced a similar situation occurred between 1645 and 1715.

Sorry to say “NO”. I want my huge General Motors STATION WAGON back. Looked like a car, but held everything I ever required to service and use my sailboat. Then changed to hold NINE passengers.
Little did I realize that my “gas-guzzling” Custom Cruiser was doing its bit to hold back the oncoming ICE AGE.

I’ve never heard that, although it makes sense.

Do you have a link to more information?

On April 28, 1975, Newsweek wrote an (coming ice age) article stating:

“Climatologists are pessimistic that political leaders will take any positive action to compensate for the climatic change, or even to allay its effects. They concede that some of the more spectacular solutions proposed, such as melting the Arctic ice cap by covering it with black soot or diverting arctic rivers, might create problems far greater than those they solve. But the scientists see few signs that government leaders anywhere are even prepared to take the simple measures of stockpiling food or of introducing the variables of climatic uncertainty into economic projections of future food supplies. The longer the planners delay, the more difficult will they find it to cope with climatic change once the results become grim reality.”

I’ve been telling my relatives who are total global warm-mongers that we are very likely entering a Maunder Minimum for about 10 years now. I can’t wait to turn their own verbage around and start calling them “Ice Age Deniers”.
