We have all known someone who, having paid an exorbitant sum for a car that seems to spend a lot of time in the shop, insists its the best automobile hes ever owned. That´s Paul Krugman where Obamacare is concerned. His psychological and professional investment in the perversely titled Affordable Care Act is such that he cannot bring himself to admit that he bought a lemon. And like the guy with the pricey car that keeps breaking down, his claims about the dysfunctional law are becoming so preposterous that they are literally provoking laughter when he makes them in public.
This is what happened last week during a debate at Freedom Fest between Krugman and Stephen Moore of the Heritage Foundation. The general topic concerned the restoration of the American dream and, considering the amount of damage Obamacare has inflicted on that dream, it was inevitable that the misbegotten health care law would come up sooner or later. Krugman, desperate to convince the audience that the rattletrap was working quite well, claimed that it had lowered the cost of U.S. health care. PJ Medias Liz Sheld reports, The whole room laughed at that howler.

“Why Krugman Lies About Obamacare”
Its the only way one can prop up bad ideas and legislation: with lies. Certainly one cannot prop up bad ideas with the truth.
He must be a sociopath not to have a breakdown down with all the evidence that must generate a constant state of cognitive dissonance, particularly with ObamaCare.
Liberals lie. That’s just what they do.
Free markets are much older than planned economies. They date back to the Stone Age, and should be fairly straightforward. Even a cave man should understand them, because cave men invented them.
Unfortunately, that means the route to tenure and Nobel Prizes is via novel and "out of the box" research, and the problem with that kind of research is that it's usually wrong. Sometimes laughably so.
You are correct sir. This one was rather easy to figure out.
The whole room laughed at that howler.
Wish I could have been there. Has Krugman ever been right about anything? Maybe he predicted the Sun would rise in the East at some point in his life.
Is it just me or does he look like a slimy creep! n/s
Reflex
Krugman lies about everything. Krugman, the former Enron consultant, has been wrong about everything. According to him, the stimulus would have us a roaring economy. Krugman routinely falsifies his history because he is wrong all the time.
When has Krugman spoken the truth?
Simpler, and more accurate, explanation: Krugman lies about obamacare - and everything else - because he’s a liberal. It’s in his DNA.
Who ya gonna believe? Me or your insurance bill?
