Obamacare Has Never Been about Anything Affordable for You

After the Supreme Court ruled in his favor, Obama strode into the Rose Garden and just made stuff up. Straight-faced, he said families are paying about $1,800 less per year on average now. But government actuaries tell the real story that the ACA has increased the average family’s yearly healthcare costs by around $800.

When 2016 rolls around, the insurers will be jacking up prices—20 to 40 percent or more because the marketplaces have failed to attract those healthy young people they desperately need. So buckle up. Here come the price increases.

The public is now joining our Veterans who have been put on embarrassing long waiting lists that in some cases have led to death (lists that are being hidden by those in the position to do something about it in the first place). Wasn’t this problem raised years ago? Never mind, it’s still going on today and Congress sits and takes more lies from those in charge at the VA.

With a Democratic ticket win in 2016, Obamacare might be transformed into universal healthcare—Medicaid for all. The consolidation of insurance companies and their push for value-based medicine is indicative that they believe this scenario will come about sooner rather than later. Their plan is to take the place of the government in terms of being the single payer for all medical services and the single source for running America’s healthcare exchange.

On the repeal and replace side, even if a Republican Congress could ram through legislation to replace and repeal the law, what are we going to be left with? There is little unity among politicians and presidential candidates about what the alternative is. We are waiting to see true reform that eliminates the mandate and returns the practice of medicine to those with licenses!

Up is Down.

And contradicting your Masters will result in imprisonment.

Sorry, the Obamacare is never about being affordable for YOU or ME.

It was sold to the Americans that > 30 millions UNINSURED in our country deserve to have their health insurance more affordable for them. Of course being libs, they are the more compassionate half of the populace, and now seems to be the solid majority.

Never mind Obamacare is one big lie, it’s never about being affordable for those uninsured nor about providing good quality healthcare.

remember, we had to pass it to find out what is in it. Too bad we still have not found out what is really in it as of yet. The SCOTUS keeps changing it's "meaning"

Obamacare has produced millions (tens of millions?) of additional subsidized and totally supported participants for medical care therefore locking in additional Democrat votes.

ACA/CMS has the following ranking of priorities
#1 Control of all state budgets through control of their most expensive program...medicaid.
#2 Control of the people through acquisition of their medical records (HIE,HIX,EMR,EHR, etc)
#3 Sweetheart deals to insurance companies and providers and politicians who help advance #1 and #2.
#4 Sweetheart deals to those who help the right candidates.
#5 Personal advancement of individuals with a revolving door.
#6 Keeping scapegoats available to blame when things go wrong.

Notice what is not on the list and not a priority.

If it was about your health care they would have hired 10,000 more doctors, not 10,000 more IRS agents.

The claim that they need lots of healthy young people to pay for the expenses of old and sick people is clear evidence that this is not insurance but income transfer. In true insurance, people in the same risk category are charged an actuarily appropriate premium for their level of risk. True insurance does not cross-subsidize high-risk groups at the expense of low-risk groups.

The ill health 80 year-old next door neighbor talked with me earlier this week and was livid about obama-care.

One pill he has to take used to be $45. Now its $700.

Incredible. Can you ask him what the medication is? I would be so curious to know. That's outrageous. The thing is, so many of these meds are not allowed anymore under the coverage so you are forced to pay "off schedule" and the costs are beyond crazy.

Someone else told me that the meds they used to buy in Canada by credit card is no longer allowed... you have to send a check. Who the heck is behind that? One guess...

Strode..
I like that word. however my lingo uses it only to denote a disrepectful scattering disposal of objects thru a hasty and abrupt slinging casting of.
Oh the spelling is strowed,... funny how the English language can be. Not so funny how this country had lost it’s way.

I think of strode as being disrespectful, too. Fitting for that guy, huh? And interesting the spelling "strowed" in the Urban Dictionary has this definition:

"To be beaten horribly or one sidedley. To be destroyed. To obliterate or break apart. To win or lose by a seemingly unfair advantage."
