WHITE HOUSE BLASTS TED CRUZ, DONALD TRUMP, HOUSE GOP, ON RACE AND THE CONFEDERATE FLAG
Breitbart ^ | 9 Jul 2015 | CHARLIE SPIERING

White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest opened today’s press briefing with a stern condemnation of the national Republican party, suggesting it is out of touch with the rest of America on issues surrounding the Confederate flag and race.

After praising the South Carolina House of Representatives for voting to take down the Confederate flag from the State Capitol, Earnest quickly turned his fire on National Congressional Republicans and their party whip, Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA).

“A sizable number of House Republicans are eager to protect the status of the Confederate flag on National Park service grounds,” he said. “These are the same House Republicans who voted for a party leader who once described himself as ‘David Duke without the baggage,’” he said.

House Speaker Rep. John Boehner (R-OH) pulled the bill after it became a political fight over the Confederate flag.

Referring to Donald Trump, Earnest added that “these are the same congressional Republicans who have declined to criticize the race bating rhetoric of a leading Republican presidential candidate.”

“That’s to say nothing of the Senate Republican who has saluted that candidate,” he added, referring to Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX).

UPDATE: Boehner spokesman Cory Fritz reacted quickly to the White House attack with the following statement:

“Distorting fact to try and score cheap political points is no way to honor the victims of the horrific crime in Charleston. These childish attacks are completely dishonest, and beneath the dignity of the office of the presidency.”

"These childish attacks are completely dishonest, and beneath the dignity of the office of the presidency.”

Obozo himself is beneath the dignity of the presidency but bonehead and the turtle both continue to be complicit in the obozo's crime syndicate activities. Bonehead, the indignant has no room to speak about dignity to anyone.

Sounds exactly like Rush has been talking about on his show the last couple days

the left can never say we won, let’s be happy. they won’t be happy until they destroy everyone who dared to disagree with them.

Yep, he was still in office only 5 years ago, 41 years after he tried to sink the Civil rights act. Funny how they had no problem with that.

Does Josh Earnest leave an actual slime trail wherever he goes or does it just seem like he should?

No one would ever guess we have an anti-whitey president.

I hope the statue of MLK is moved from the capitol when the republicans take over. It doesn't belong there and everyone knows it.

As far as a female on a bill...it's really all about "black" isn't it.

Those southerners were citizens. They deserve the same as the Northern army.

Imagine if whites had a culture of racial solidarity like the blacks and the orientals do?

It's possible that's what the government actually wants - they keep pushing in that direction - it's rather obvious

Typical Boehner. Sound and fury, signifying nothing. How about:

"Americans are tired of race-baiting, lawless, weak-kneed 'leaders' like Barack Obama. He has committed high crimes against the Constitution and the American people and we are thus left with no alternative but to begin impeachment proceedings forthwith."

I'm offended. First, I worked hard to get my doctorate and if I had cheated I would have been kicked out of the program. Plagiarism is dishonest, academic stealing, and cheating. Thou shalt not steal. Now, there is also a commandment that also speaks of immorality, Thou shalt not commit adultery. Now if I were to be a man of the cloth, breaking these two would be a cardinal sin and one worthy of severe punishment. Instead, the US gave a man that did both of these things a National Holiday and a monument. His home is a National Shrine.

Martin Luther King, Jr., was a serial adulterer. The day he was killed, his entourage had to whisk a woman out of his room at the Lorraine secretly. He was removed from a church in Alabama for serial adultery. He was reported by FBI agents to J. Edgar Hoover for his beating of white prostitutes.

Second, his plagiarism of his famous speeches and his doctorate thesis dishonesty has been identified and documented. If I had plagiarized my doctorate, I would have had it revoked whether I was alive or not. What is the difference? If I had plagiarized speeches I would have been vilified.

Streets named after Martin Luther King, Jr., mark the high crime areas of almost every city. Isn't this misuse of his highly respected name by people and shouldn't they do something to keep his name from being associated with crime?

Why are people giving MLK, Jr., heritage a free pass when the South isn't? I am offended.

Not so Earnest, the Obama White House are under many banners like the Muslim Brotherhood flag, and that red flag with the sickle and hammer.
