Carly Fiorina’s campaign raised $1.4 million in the first fundraising quarter of her presidential campaign, her campaign manager announced in a memo Monday, while her super PAC raised $3.4 million.
Those numbers, even when combined, are a fraction of what several other Republican presidential candidates have raised so far.
Ben Carson, another long-shot presidential candidate who announced his candidacy on the same day as Fiorina, on May 4, but launched an exploratory committee in March, claims a $10.5 million fundraising haul since then. Ted Cruz’s campaign notched $10 million in the second quarter of fundraising and $14 million since he announced at the end of March, and when combined with super PAC support, claims $51 million.

Carly will be Jeb’s running mate. She is in the primaries only for name recognition and to practice dealing with the press. Jeb will need a female to balance the ticket running against Hillary. Likely Hillary will run with Julian Castro as the historic female/Hispanic ticket. Jeb, the self proclaimed Hispanic, will run with Carly so the GOPe can also claim to have a historic Hispanic/female ticket.
That's my memory of it, though I'm not in California, and I've been blasted here in FR for saying as much.

Yeah I’ve learned in my years that a good “blasting” does nothing to change facts. And facts are she was a horrible candidate.
