Rubio eventually backed away from his own bill after he tanked in the polls.
“Rubio flip flopped on the bill for political expediency with the explanation that he could not expect President Obama to enforce it. Why would Rubio have given Obama this authority in the first place?” Trump’s adviser said.
Just this past weekend in New Hampshire, Rubio used several of the same talking points he used to sell the Gang of Eight bill to push a pathway to citizenship for illegal aliens. When asked if he supports a pathway to citizenship for those who broke America’s immigration laws, Rubio said: “I do.”

I love what Trump said the other day, illegals are a “national security issue” BINGO!! Finally someone states what our border situation is really all about instead of it being twisted and warped by the usual liberals and RINOs. It absolutely is a national security issue and these pukes have been trying to make it something that it is not. It has NOTHING to do with “immigration” or “workers”, it IS a THREAT against national security and it has to be STOPPED!! END OF STORY.

I see Trump as the shock troops for the Cruz campaign. While I don’t take the guy seriously, and fully expect him to flame out eventually, he is doing a great job softening the resistance. In his position as gadfly, he can say things others can’t.

But if anyone here truly believes the Southern Border will EVER be Sealed and Secure, you are just plain crazy. The War on Drugs is far too important and lucrative for our government, it will never be won by securing the border where over 85% of ALL DRUGS come into the USA.
We need the War on Drugs more than you will ever believe or know. The Border will Remain OPEN, no matter what anyone tells you.

Of course, it's Rubio's job to stay in the race until at least Florida, so you can expect him to be one of the most reviled men in America by the time we get there.
I don't know if Trump will expend much energy on Perry as nobody cares what he has to say except leftist media trying to run cover for the commie race baiters in the Democrat party.
I predict Chris Christie will come out, guns a blazing, starting tomorrow or Tuesday.

The more Rubio talks, the worse he looks. I’m not saying a would vote for Trump (not good on social issues) but I respect how he stands up to ridiculous pressure.

Trump nailed it on Rubio. When Rubio announced, he said he had learned his lesson on amnesty. Now he is telling New Hampshire voters that he supports amnesty. He hasn’t changed his position. he just lies about it depending on the crowd.
I’m just surprised Jeb was not at the Mitt mansion with Rubio and Christie plotting on how to punch back at Trump. Three losers who the sooner gone the better.
I saw Trump’s interview with Howard Kurtz this morning and IMO Trump acquitted himself very well. He was toned down and very serious. He is a very credible candidate. All this talk about Trump is a clown and Trump is a Liberal in the news and on FR is just a lot of crap.
I believe Trump is in it to win it.
If Cruz and Trump are the only two left standing in Aug, 2016...Cruz would do well to accept VP nomination.
But, if the GOP takes Trump out before that, or if he goes crazy as he is want to do, then the GOP will take out Cruz.
