Billionaire to billionaire: Carlos Slim cuts ties with Donald Trump
Business Review USA ^ | 7/2/14 | Rebecca Castrejon

The richest businessman in Mexico, Carlos Slim, has cut ties with Donald Trump after the latter offended Mexicans during his speech announcing his run for the presidency of the United States.

The magnates were going to launch a television mega project with Larry King, named Ora TV, which would be a producing company financed by America Movil. The partnership is over as of June 29 after Trump carried on offending the neighboring country.

Slim’s spokesperson, and son-in-law, Arturo Elias, stated: “Working with someone that narrow-minded was not going to work out.” He added that the comments were racist, especially when he said that Mexico sends narco-traffickers, rapists and murderers to America.

Does Mr. Slim live in the US? If not, he proves Trump’s point.

I wonder what his reaction to this will be. A law suite undoubtedly if a contract existed. But further I hope he exposes the Crony Plutocrat Slim for what he is with both barrels.

Sunlight on Slim would not be good for Slim’s profit centers, much of which are connected to illegal immigrants and poverty stricken members of both American and Mexican society.

Are there any non-white violent criminals in the United States anymore.

Illegal Immigrants: Committing the crimes Americans are no longer willing to commit.

He is more than a part owner he bailed them out from certain Chapter 7 bankruptcy. In doing so he got a complacent mouthpiece for illegal immigration and crony capitalism. His bread and butter.

It’s not just saying something that the rules of PC forbid, the unpardonable sin is telling a TRUTH that the rules of PC forbid. They don’t mind you lying so much but they cannot stand someone telling the wrong truth.

Boy, if everyone cuts all their business ties to Trump they will leave him no alternative but to actually try to win.

The same place Trump is after dumping his bad debt in repeated bankruptcies?

Or maybe in the same place as his private eminent domain abuses?

Go on, tell us how it’s different when Donald Chump does it.

Oh! And let’s not leave out the fact that he brags about how he has a gun permit that only the wealthy can get. The little people don’t stand a chance.

Any idea how many people on this forum get tax breaks of one kind or another?

What passes for the Democrat party today, is actually more of an action network that is very tightly knit.

In this environment, the actual political leaders can send their likes, dislikes, and action plans down the line to those who will hit the streets for them, keeping them distanced from the perpetrator of bad things.

Don’t think the media or “supposed” outraged members of the public are acting on their own. They aren’t.

Strings are being pulled all over the place. Macys, NBC, and other groups aren’t doing the things they are doing by happenstance. They are being given directives. If not from the top, then a concerted effort of the underlings being directed from the top.

The Left is in all out war mode. Our side does nothing like this.

So you may think that government isn’t doing this. You would be wrong in that assumption. The Left’s political class at the highest levels is doing what you seem to think Government isn’t doing.

Yes, but it is.

Tough times for Donald.

Slim Pickens, Slim Gaillard, Slim Whitman, Iceberg Slim, and Slim Wilson also aren't available.

Trump gets a tax break, but he is adding a major component to the local economy, or helping his business to remain solvent so that workers keep their jobs and perhaps more can be employed.

The government then gets property taxes, sales taxes, income taxes, hostel taxes, and the benefit of increased commerce in the area. Employed people spend their money to pay for a home and their family needs.

The whole local and even extended economy benefits.

While it is customary for the Left to trash Capitalists like this, I think it’s our duty on the right to realize lowered taxes are a good thing, no matter how it happens.

I’m not the slighted bit bothered about Trump’s tax breaks, and I think we do a severe disservice to our cause when we refer to this as crony capitalism or some such.

It’s just using the tax laws to your advantage, and Trump and others like him would be acting incompetently if they didn’t take every tax break that made sense.

Not trying to be critical of you. This is a good time to mention this dynamic, so I appreciate you feeding me the post to respond to.

Take care.

So, Slim’s gonna go a few rounds against Trump now?
After what I learned about Slim from Coulter’s latest book, we’re gonna need some more popcorn.
