Donald Trump is quickly becoming the GOP establishment's worst nightmare
Business Insider ^ | 07/02/2015 | Maxwell Tani

Real-estate mogul Donald Trump is not the most cautious speaker in the Republican presidential primary field.

He's in a public feud with the nation's largest Spanish-language television network, one of its premier broadcast networks, and a major retailer over comments suggesting Mexican immigrants are "rapists" and drug runners.

And despite all that, Trump is rising in recent polls, placing second both in national surveys and in polls of key early-voting states.

This means one thing: In a little more than a month, the outspoken Trump will almost certainly be one of the candidates who polls high enough to earn a spot onstage at the first Republican primary debate. He is now in seventh place, according to the Real Clear Politics average of five recent national polls — the top 10 make it into the debate.

It's a potential disaster in the making for Republicans who desire a more prim and proper run-up to selecting their nominee.

Donald Trump is quickly becoming the GOP establishment’s worst nightmare.

Wrong

Donald Trump is quickly becoming the GOPe establishment’s worst nightmare. There corrected.

The bed wetters and soiled diaper crowd can’t stand hearing the truth. They are so busy running for cover that the truth escapes them. Maybe they should listen to the actual words instead of reading the spin in the NY Times.

I love the way everyone just assumes Trump is not a serious candidate. He’s at #2 already which I would call pretty serious.

“Trump is running a national campaign already on issues. “

What a refreshing change! Maybe the ticket needs to be Trump/Fiorina. Carly is very, very good on the issues, she never ducks a question, and she rips Hitlary an new “a$$hole” every chance she gets. I particularly liked her comment that “flying isn’t an accomplishment, it’s an activity.” But then she doesn’t do the maintenance on Hitlary’s broom.

Don’t forget, he is freaking the left as well! A majority of Americans want to end illegal immigration & close the borders. Why else would they attack him as they are. He is taking some financial hits as well.

I don’t really waste a lot of time worrying about what you election season FReepers think. Most of you are just lying moderate scum anyway.

They’d best handle him carefully. If they p*ss him off he has more than enough money to run as an independent. He’d be the next Perot.

Though personally I would not mind seeing Jeb Bush coming in third.

Real Estate developers typically give money to both parties. It is more of a business expense more than anything else. Everybodies palms get greased...to get what they want.

I agree, I am very impressed with Fiorina, especially how she did her preparation on ALL of the TV interviewers and ambushed THEM by buying out their web domain names. You can’t go wrong having two really rich people at the top IF they are willing to use their wealth to fight and not apologize for it.

Seems to me that so far the only one throwing out insults or anything about fellow Republicans is Trump and my guess is he’ll do what he wants anyway without needing an excuse so if he’s prepared to go third party he’ll do it.

In my honest opinion, Trump is capable of making the most changes in how our country is opertaing. Cruz is the only other candidate who might be OK. However, keep in mind, Cruz pushed for the secret Obamatrade, because his rich donors told him to.

Cruz is head and shoulders above Trump in speaking ability.
However trump is much more independent because he does not
need a sugar daddy ordering him what to do.

I hope it is one of those 2 to go against Hillary.
But against Hillary, I will vote for the local dog catcher.

There is a very easy way to make Trump disappear: Start standing up for the things Trump is saying.

BINGO!

Well, we will see. I’ve put some crow on ice in the refrigerator, just in case. If Trump succeeds, I’ll need your mailing address so I can send it to you.

One of the qualities about Trump is that he is not a professional politician...

Cruz is getting attention. And he is smart. He stuck up for Trump. That was a wise thing to do.

Check out post #12. That really is all the others have to do. Most will not because they are gutless.
