Obama Blasted for Joining Jeb Bush in Green Pea Guacamole Debate

“I don’t care about guacamole recipes. What will you do about guns?” Piers Morgan tweets to President amid latest Internet controversy

The Internet has united for one very important cause: keeping peas out of guacamole.

President Obama joined other Americans in voicing concern on Twitter Wednesday, stating he prefers the “classic” arrangement over a green pea guacamole recipe proposed by the New York Times.

The paper’s Melissa Clark advocated putting green peas in guacamole, saying it adds “intense sweetness and a chunky texture” to the otherwise creamy dip, referencing a collaboration between ABC Cocina’s chef-owner Jean-Georges Vongerichten and his chef de cuisine Ian Coogan.

I just returned from Spain ( an authentic Hispanic nation ) not an avocado in sight - not green peas for that matter unless you count the Brit pubs in Benidorm, which I don’t
