With the socialists you not only get the government giveaways but you get the socialist world view and agenda with them. Socialism is a well defined set of ideas on everything from sex, the family, men and women, nationhood, race, education and everything else you can think of. The have an opinion on everything and they are eager to impose their know it all ideas on everyone.
Socialist seem to hate their own countrymen more than anyone and many of them are quite sadistic behind their fake smiles. Passive aggressive is a term that describes them perfectly.
