resident Obama signed hard-fought trade legislation Monday, thanking Republican leaders who helped get it done and saying the package will “reinforce America’s leadership role in the world.”

“I think it’s fair to say that getting these bills through Congress has not been easy,” Mr. Obama said as he signed the trade bills into law in the East Room. “They’ve been declared dead more than once.”

The two major pieces of legislation grant Mr. Obama “fast track” trade-promotion authority

“I think it’s fair to say that getting these bills through Congress has not been easy,”

Woulda been impossible if Republicans had leadership with balls.

It doesn’t matter if Boehner and McConnell were missing. It’s just government by one man now.

Almost the entire GOP gave this to Obama, and that includes
Boehner, McConnell, McCain and Cruz.

Only Sessions stood against this corruption.
Only Sessions.

They were only the enablers.

They weren’t invited to wipe his butt when he was done crapping all over the Constitution and the citizens.

One the bright side, Obama didn’t read what he just signed because:

Snip from page 103 of the an amendment inserted into the actual document passed that the president signed.

Just maybe there is some protection for US law standing above all else. I’m absolutely shocked as I thought the bill was a sellout. Obama reads this and he’ll veto it for sure.

SEC. 108. SOVEREIGNTY.
4 (a) UNITED STATES LAW TO PREVAIL IN EVENT OF
5 CONFLICT.—No provision of any trade agreement entered
6 into under section 103(b), nor the application of any such
7 provision to any person or circumstance, that is incon-
8 sistent with any law of the United States, any State of
9 the United States, or any locality of the United States
10 shall have effect.
11 (b) AMENDMENTS OR MODIFICATIONS OF UNITED
12 STATES LAW.—No provision of any trade agreement en-
13 tered into under section 103(b) shall prevent the United
14 States, any State of the United States, or any locality of
15 the United States from amending or modifying any law
16 of the United States, that State, or that locality (as the
17 case may be).

The way Bonehead, Ryan and McConnell fought so hard to ram this
bill thru, you would think they would want to rub it in America’s faces.

They obliviously know it it very unpopular. Hence no photo-opt.

We need to STOP calling Obamatrade.

It was passed by RINO Leadership in Both houses.

Call it what it is...

RINOTRADE, promoted, lobbied, approved and PASSED by Republican Leaders in Both the H.O.R. and Senate!

“This bill is a big win for American jobs and leadership, and I hope the president will continue to work with us to get more bipartisan, House-passed jobs bills signed into law,” Mr. Boehner said.

Boner is beyond disgusting. He's really into world class, global BS now. He needs to check the job creation of past agreements which always increase our trade deficits substantially.

These trade schemes aren't "jobs bills", but deals to serve transnational corporations. We've learned that US corporations have 600 consultants working with our trade negotiators on these secret deals. Haven't heard about how any other interest groups might be represented, if at all.
