Maybe someone in the regime gave them all the passwords. It would save the hackers time and effort. Would the regime let anyone deliberately steal this information? That really is a tough question to answer.
If they have high security clearances, what should there be to blackmail?

This is what happens when you outsource and have leaders who hate America.
They go way back in your past and if you've had it for a long time, they have history of everything you've ever done, everywhere you've ever lived or worked, many people you know (you have to provide references). They ask you questions about your prior history like drug use that you must answer truthfully. Surely there are people who have skeletons in their closets that Uncle Sam decided weren't enough to preclude a clearance but which would be embarrassing or perhaps harmful if made public.
For example imagine a hypothetical government employee. Suppose it came out that he did many different drugs in college, his family was full of known communists, his church was a hotbed of anti-americanism, and was closely associated with a known and unrepentant domestic terrorist. If that all came out it would absolutely ruin that person, wouldn't it?
This regime would let the Chinese deliberately steal this info and probably helped them do it.
The current dim party aligns themselves with anyone or anything that harms this country.
They are Dr. Kevorkian of the political world and our country is his patient.
Again, why is ANYONE surprised? His job, as clearly defined by his actions for over 6 years, is to open America up to more attacks, more decay, more obstruction, more military demoralization, more theft, more taxation, more red tape, more division, more racial animus, more doubt, more hatred of Christians and Christian values, more disrespect on the world stage, more deference to terrorists and thugs, etc.... what has he done, in 6 years, that doesn’t fit into one of those boxes?
