If the 14th amendment applied to same sex marriage then it applied in every homosexual case ever brought before the Supreme Court. It’s a falsehood and they know it. They also know that nothing will be done to reverse it (at least in their life time).

Agreed. Look at abortion where more people are against it now. It will be a matter of time before Roe v Wade gets overturned.

I believe they do still march in the Gay Parade just in smaller venues. NAMBLA still has a strong relationship with the BLT (whatever) crowd.

The power of the (individual) states to impose the death penalty against an individual for committing a crime that did not result in the death of the victim is now limited to crimes against the state (federal government) (e.g., espionage, treason).
Actually, it should be the other way around. The federal government is so corrupt and degenerate that its power of death should be strictly limited, lest people like the current corrupt bunch decide to legally murder their political opponents. Like the Democrat congressman who called for the death penalty against those skeptical of man made global warming.
Does anyone believe that dozens of Democrats would be all in favor of legally murdering Republicans if they could? Would RINOs even rise to the defense of a conservative on trial for his life for being a conservative? I doubt it.

I don’t get it. As citizens of US what right don’t they have? They are already equal under the law. Do we need special Fat People rights? Religious people rights? Nerd rights? etc. There are all sorts of people who experience disdain and soft bigotry toward them. But they all have the same rights under the law.
When government refuses to protect the citizenry against criminals, or worse, takes the side of criminals against the citizenry, vigilantism results.
Unlike its reputation, vigilantism remains peaceful until it is forced to be violent. Many legal things are done by vigilantes until they have no more choice.
So the equation is simple: if the government refuses to stop or punish or execute pedophiles, it is up to the citizenry to do so. And if they are brought to trial for killing a pedophile, most juries will acquit via nullification.
