Allow me to gift you with a major clue. Discover what particular aspect of Polk’s methodology resulted in SAD being listed as a student in ‘62 in HI. No, it is not an error. It is not a SAD lie either. Polk crosschecked their info, so even if SAD lied to a canvasser the lie would not have made it into the publication. It is all crystal clear, per Polk’s standard procedures. And no, SAD appearing in that directory does not prove she was in HI during her pregnancy any more than it proves she was a student in HI in ‘61.

‘62 should be ‘61.

bkepley’s obnoxious methods are doing nothing for his cause. If anything, he is creating more enthusiasm and goodwill for Trump.

Yeah? What obnoxious methods? Saying what I think about the scumbag?

I will answer your question, and gladly. First, however, may I ask you an extremely pertinent question? Namely, have you ever listened to Rush? (Also, if it would be no trouble, could you link me to the Trump thread in question? I’ve seen you all over the Trump threads lately, but I don’t know offhand where this particular discussion is roiling.)

Yes I’ve listened to Rush and I have no idea what the meltdown is all about. I don’t like or trust Trump for a lot of reasons and some people can’t handle that.

Thanks for that reply. Just so you know, we are going to get smacked down any minute for hijacking this thread. So if you could kindly link me to the Trump thread, we could continue our discussion there.

Meanwhile, consider this. Rush sometimes has liberals on his show. When he does, he is careful to be polite, and he lays out clear, compelling facts and arguments in an effort to persuade.

Now if you took that approach on the Trump threads, you might actually end up dampening peoples’ enthusiasm for him. There are things about Trump that would scare the average conservative witless, if they knew them. If you, in lieu of insulting Trump supporters, drew attention to Trump’s most anti-conservative comments and positions, you’d make real progress. But you’d need to do it politely. And bear in mind that a question always puts people more at ease than an accusation. So for best results, try something like, ‘Did you know that Trump said the US needs Canadian style healthcare?’

You’d scare people cross-eyed, and perhaps even win some to your side.

I’m serious, I responded to many threads about Trump and believe me, I was more sinned against than sinner. Some got outraged and said I had to leave. I disagreed. That’s about all I know.

Why don’t you ask Lazmataz what thread set him off? And please be sure to look at the whole sequence. Thanks.

Since the data is only for births in the US, no foreign births are reported, all of the states have exactly the same percentage of foreign births registered as US - 0%.

You mean that's what they are claiming on paper. Yes, that is what they are claiming on paper. No argument there.

Alaska could not have registered foreign births of 7.57% since they report no foreign births at all.

I would think Hawaii would be the far more attractive state to attempt to get gateway citizenship through.

Yeah? What obnoxious methods?

Well, for start, there's you, being an a-hole. Then, the a-hole-ishness you exhibit. Then comes your a-holery. Follow it up with a big dollop of your being an a-hole, and I think I've demonstrated four of your obnoxious methods.

I haven’t been on any Trump threads today. In previous days I’ve followed quite a few. The simple truth is that many conservatives are thrilled to hear someone finally stand up for the crime victims of the massive wave of illegals. This being so, you can understand how some would resent people pouring cold water on this almost uniquely exciting phenomenon.

I don’t know what happened on the Trump thread that accidentally bled over onto this one. I aabsolutely don’t condone name calling (though I will call a person a liberal and or an Obot if the term is warranted, and I don’t put that in the same category as calling them bodily orifices). Fwiw, sorry this happened to you.

My schedule is hectic, but I hope to peruse some Trump threads as time permits. If I come accross anything enlightening re: the earlier blow up, I’ll plan to drop you a post. :)

It’s not a question of faith it’s a question of numbers and statistics.

And your faith in them.

The numbers were produced in 1961. All of the data is for US births only, zero foreign births are listed. Zero for any of the states

Because the newly created state of Hawaii would forthrightly report any such, wouldn't they? Why there was absolutely no pressure at all from millions of foreigners interested in buying US Citizenship after the second world war.

It is impossible to look at the numbers in your table and determine whether any foreign born children were registered as US births.

The numbers are not dispositive, merely indicative. What they indicate is that something is seriously out of whack compared to the other states.

Frankly your table is outright dishonest. And if that is typical of one of your “other articles’, I would not expect them to be any more reliable.

I think you are seeing what you want to see. Hawaii is full of resentful natives who never really wanted to be part of the US in the first place, and more or less regard us as conquerors. That they might undermine our civic borders is not a far fetched idea.

From what i've read, the national records and reporting rules were tightened about this time because of exactly these concerns. Hawaii was on the defensive about it's record keeping shortly after it became a state.

The one where you acted like an a-hole.

You missed my meaning. ALL your threads are you being an a-hole.

I take it back.

You can't. A-holery is irrevocable.

(That's actually a pretty good tagline!)

Every time we begin the run up to an election, it seems tensions begin to mount and the candidate threads become a bit overheated. I wish we could remember that in most cases we are talking to fellow conservatives. A modicum of respect would go a long way. This tendency to snap and bite at each other is just not helpful.
