Archbishop Chaput has one best explanation. So many of the bishops grew up in Democratic households as he did. But in the 1980s he realized how much the party had changed, how hostile it has become to Catholic teaching. Many bishops tried to split the difference: supportive the “Good” parts of the Democratic platform; oppose, but less strongly, the “bad” parts.
these liberal Cathlickers don’t even vote regularly .. so who is to say which parts they support and which they oppose.

The bishops during the ‘70s bought into the ideas of the therapeutic society, which is that homosexuality is a weakness but not one that disables a man from being ordained. Many homosexual priests keep their vows, but cannot bring themselves to look facts in the face and see how homosexuality so corrupts the soul.
Only God. Perhaps that is His intention. Evil is stripping away the foundations we thought we solid. All we have left is what really matters. Him.
Yep. And have created The Rainbow Church of the Here and Now. I left a denomination in the 2000's over their 'journey' into homosexual marriage and pastorship, which absolutely ingnored the Holy Bible. They also provided no-question abortion up to 20 weeks for denomination staff (though preaching otherwise).
Abject apostasy. All World Council of Churches members are such.
The point that the 4 Liberal Justices seldom, if ever, deviate from the “progressive” groupthink is a subject that EVERY Conservative needs to raise EVERY chance they get. Start putting them on the defensive. Attack them intellectually and belittle them for not having an original or independent thought. DON’T STOP. Bloody the ears of the public and media with this truth. Destroy them.
