CHURCHES ARE THE NEXT TARGET

The ruling by SCOTUS now legalizing homosexual marriage opens a very dangerous door.

The church will be attacked next....and very soon. Mark my words. There will be text cases where homosexual "couples" will go to conservative Bible believing churches and ask to be married there.

They will be denied, hopefully, and then the church will be sued for denying Constitutional rights. Will the pastor go to jail? Will the church lose its tax exempt status?

It has been the goal of the homosexual community to have the stigma of their lifestyle as accepted by the church.

Satan is moving fast.

Christians....get on your knees and be in fervent prayer.

>>>The simple answer is for churches to make a policy that only people who have been members for some time and are paid up on their tithes can get married in the church.

That won't work. Let's say you amend your constitution and by-laws to say this. Now let's say a member of your congregation has been coming for years and is a member in good standing...but has been living a secret gay life and now wants to marry their partner.

By your definition...and your constitution and by-laws...you have no recourse....and that would open the door up for a law suit because you violated your own constitution and by-laws...which are necessary for your 501c3 status.

No...the ONLY option is for pastors to get OUT of the marriage license business and say they will only conduct religious ceremonies of marriage....and if you want a legally binding sheet of paper....let the State do it since the State has decided they can define it.

If you have to bake 'em a cake you have to marry 'em.

Back to the catacombs.

I can see Christians put to death during pre NFL game "entertainment".

>>>You can refuse to do a wedding for a non-member. That happens all the time.

OK...so what do you do it its a member who asks? Don't put it past this group to have those who will infiltrate and join a church. That WILL happen and in fact, we've already had one "couple" come to our little SBC church in order to check out what we were preaching.

Unfortunately most churches today will accept anyone who walks the isle and wants to join. The church is the next target and if I was in charge of the radical gay agenda...that's what I would do...send in people to infiltrate and look for lawsuits.

Excellent post, thanks. And I did read Leviticus 22 to the end also.

Any church that preaches the true message will repel those types of members.

>>>Any church that preaches the true message will repel those types of members.

We'll see.

Again...my advice to all churches is amend your constitutions and by-laws NOW. Get out of the civil marriage business and make it a purely religious ceremony. Let the State define marriage as it will...and let the church define marriage as God does.

And never forget just how QUICK this slide has happened. Just a few years ago we were 32-0 in states vs same sex marriage...and now...we've lost and a majority in this country agree with it.

And if you think it stops here...you are very naive and not aware of the new reality we are living in. When a nation rejects God...He gives them up. Romans 1:18-32

One thing I missed writing about in post #91 was remember Katrina wiped out New Orleans. What is unique about New Orleans? I'm 64 and my father said to never date a girl from New Orleans because she might be a he. 9-11 was NYC and Sept 2008 stock crash was NYC but also affected America. Next Sept 2015 is 7 years after 2008 and we still haven't repented. God is big on Sabbatical years. Remember Israel was in bondage for 490 years for not letting the land rest every 7th year. Next year is a Jubilee year and God usually does stuff in a Jubilee year.

I can't predict things happening, but we are certainly asking for it. If God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, then,IMHO, he will act.

2015 is a Shemitah year, and the last day is 9/13/15, a Sunday.

A financial reset is coming. Current events certainly point in that direction.

Funny comment about New Orleans.I have traveled all over the US, and the only city in which I felt palpable evil was NO.I liked the city and went all over, but the presence of evil was there. It is a stronghold of Satan.

No, I’m not saying that people shouldn’t make their marriages legal. I am saying that they should do the extra step of seeing the Justice of the Peace when they pick up the marriage license from the courthouse the law already stipulates that they get.

You currently have a situation where ordained ministers act in place of civil officials and wield authority held by the state. Think of that authority as a Trojan Horse brought within the Church’s gates.
