A West Point cadet was found guilty Tuesday of possessing a trove of violent child pornography in his dorm room at the storied military academy.
Patrick Hester, 25, was taken into custody following the verdict in U.S. District Court in White Plains because the videos “depicted children being tortured,” Manhattan U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara said. “In collecting and sharing these appalling videos, he contributed to the victimization of the most vulnerable members of our society, our children.”
More than 1,200 images and videos were seized from Hester’s dorm room in December 2013. Hester told fellow pervs in emails he preferred boys ages 4 to 10, prosecutors said.

Obama would like to put him on the fast track to general.
Maybe he could get off with a lighter sentence if he self-identifies as a 6 year old girl.
Color me shocked. This is still illegal?? We need to get the Supreme court working on this pronto. This poor young cadets rights are clearly being violated.

1: What’s the bid deal? He’s OK for Obama’s Army.
2: Maybe he washes out of West Point. There’s always the UN Peacekeeping Force.
I know of enlisted sailors who have gotten an appointment at Annapolis.
I believe you can enter West Point up until age 26. A lot of guys enlist in the Army after high school, do a few years as an enlisted soldier, and then enter West Point in their early 20's. Not sure if he did or not.

He could be prior enlisted, went to Prep School, or just waited a while. Entrance requirements are you must be at least 17 and younger than 23.
Besides being sick, this cadet was stupid allowing this to happen. Now both he and his family have been publicly disgraced. This, after all the expense and hard academic work it takes to even become a cadet. All for naught.
