Mark needs to stop it and call out Rubio on this crap...Cruz/Rubio are not on equal footings ideologically and in practice.

could be called the deciding vote. I think the accusation comes from the fact
this was a roll call vote and when Rubio was called he voted aye which
happened to be the 60th vote.

Ah, a voice of reason. Now when the treaties come up for a vote, it will be an up or down vote - no amendments to take cover behind, or add pork/favors. Since Obama will be submitting them to a Republican House/Senate, good luck passing them when they have to be posted for 60 days before a vote can take place. Then when a Pubbie wins in 2016, with coattails to keep the House/Senate, there will be no excuse to get Republican treaties passed.

There is a lot of difference between a TPP and the TPA.
The TPP is important. The TPA, while important, its not going to change a thing.
The TPA has long time effects on many trade negotiation processes.
The TPP is the trade deal that will be a big deal come fall.
Of course, it is possible to get all worked up over anything, or nothing. Perhaps its just fun to get worked up.
While I despise Obama, I am not delusional to think that our Congress will do anything. They talk a good game every 18 months when they need a vote, but for the most part they are corrupt pigs eating at the trough.
