Similarly, I want Carly Fiorina in the race for a long time, to rip Hillary to shreds on a weekly basis, with almost no regard for competing with the GOP candidates.
I think Trump’s greatest value is that cannon he calls his mouth.
Trump already took a major swing at George “Clintonista” Stephanopolis and that alone was a good thing. There are many questions that all good Americans want answered and Trump is asking them, loudly. Good!
I don’t think he’ll survive the Primaries but he will certainly stir the pot before dropping out. Raise holy hell, Donald!
Raul Castro would make a better president than Obama. At least it would be a slight move to the right.
Establishment candidates are scared that Trump will be the loose canon on deck, pushing issues they prefer to bypass.
Ask yourself this, Trump or Hillary? What good would petulance do you then?
If people pay less taxes because high-income jobs go overseas, the government doesn’t have that money to waste. Besides that, many of those people who lose jobs collect food stamps and other freebies. They cost money and that adds to debt. Our government does not adjust accordingly when they have less revenue, thus uncontrollable debt has occurred.
“Raise holy hell, Donald!”
Our enemies noticed him and responded.
Good or bad, he resonates a message.
That DARN Freedom of Choice!! We should abolish it in all purchasing activities. No American may ever again choose what to buy and where to buy it from!!!!
Then let's declare war on China to force them to open their ports and to buy our goods. It has been done before, repeatedly, by Britain and France and others... and in the last 160 years.
Yes, by gum, THEN everything will be good again!
Thank goodness conservatives see the wisdom of denying free choice and free markets and competition. We've clearly all been standing in bread lines for the last 120 years, and most especially in the last 12 years, because of that darn open market capitalism. Why, we only export more than any other nation on earth except one.... we only export 10 percent of the world's exports, despite being 4.4 percent of the world's population... we only export more than South America, Central America, and Africa combined (despite having one-fifth of their population)... Yeah, we are miserable at production and exportation. We just suck at it.
What we need is politicians to come to our rescue (because they are ALWAYS so good at arranging economic frameworks!!!!), to skew the rules in our favor so we can compete with Canada and Italy and Russia...
Yesssss.... THEN it will all be good again. Only THEN can we hire Americans again. There is no other option at all!
Note: there may be a scintilla of sarcasm in this post...
Which, exactly makes my point.
Trade didn't cause our government to overspend.
I'm not sure if you've been told, but Trump isn't competing against Hillary yet. He is not the nominee. Dumping Trump does not mean a Hillary presidency automatically. There are actually other people on earth aside from New York City celebrities.
(I'm guessing you did time in NYC for an extended period. Only a New Yawkuh would see the world in terms of only those who are "from" NYC.)
Is that why we had no trade imbalance at the end of Clintoon's term? LOL!
The United States trade deficit is about 40 billion per month.
How big was it when our budget deficit was over $1 trillion?
As the budget deficit has fallen, why has the trade deficit increased?
Perhaps the relationship you imagine doesn't exist in the real world?
Pass.
LOL.
That’s okay.
I doubt he’d leave the nation on the brink of insolvency, but then you never know.
Very weak argument because trade can mitigate or eliminate our debt problem, do you not agree?
Right now this country of ours needs someone like Donald Trump to move our country from its current third world status, so we can return to being the greatest country in the world.
Would a President Trump filing Bankruptcy for the USA?
I like Trump....not bought and paid for by lobbists...
the debt is national
the trade imbalance is not national but between individuals and companies.
trade has nothing to do with our national debt. the debt is governmental and reflects governmental outlays in excess of revenues that make deficits that summed make the debt
Wait...Trump? "Joe Cool?"
LOL
Trump is about as cool as Wayne Newton. Plus he's a liberal Democrat.
