Why because he voted for a bill that will require Congressional involvement in trade deals and transparency of the trade agreements?

No it doesn't. The involvement is nothing more than a wish list that Obama can just ignore. The only concrete effect of the TPA is to eliminate debate and amendments in the Senate and allow it to pass with 50 votes instead of 60. Cruz says history shows this is the only way to get a deal done. OK, and history also shows every deal done this way has been approved by Congress. Cruz thinks GATT, NAFTA, etc. are great and wants more. Talk about giving Congress a say is just spin, and the exact opposite of reality. I like a lot about Cruz, but I'm not drinking the koolaid for anybody.

Being First Lady is a full time job, if someone is actually worthy of the position. Heidi would make a wonderful First Lady and I would love to see that family in the White House. It would take someone of their caliber to cleanse it from the filth we currently have there

Love Sarah, too. If she won’t run for President, I wish she would run for the Senate to stay in the game. I would love to see her as President someday.

Cruz equates Amnesty with Citizenship. Or do you disagree with that too in your attempt to obfuscate?

Are you just a committed, philosophical supporter of Ted Cruz, or do you get paid for it?

You sir, lack decorum.

TPA sets Parameters for the President and requires him to make regular r reports to Congress. Congress is involved in the negotiations so there should be no need for amendments. Without TPA, the public is shut out completely, as we are now.

There were very conservative political talk show hosts who were around way before Limbaugh who warned about GATT, NAFTA etc.

We were warned repeatedly over and over. And they were still shoved down our throats.

The results of these corrupt bureaucratic decisions on that and other issues, have decimated America.

Like I said, it's a wish list, nothing more. Obama can report what he wants, and negotiate what he wants. Or ignore it altogether. What' are the GOP going to do about it? Then he will submit whatever he negotiated to Congress, where Cruz' vote will make it much easier to pass. That's the truth.

Keep drinking that Kool-aid buddy.

So you like no transparency? TPA says that if the terms of TPA are not met, the agreement is Null and Void. DOA.

I like 60 votes to pass and the ability to add amendments. Obama will report what he wants and present what he wants. Nothing is automatically “null and void”, because the GOP will do nothing about it. In the end the GOP simply put it up for an up or down vote.

So do you think GATT and NAFTA have been good for America? That we need more of the same? Cruz and the rest of the GOP do.

#91 Donald Trumpisms

“Saudi Arabia without us is gone. They’re gone.”

“Saudi Arabia, they make $1 billion a day,” Trump said this week: “$1 billion a day. I love the Saudis. Many are in this building. They make a billion dollars a day. Whenever they have problems, we send over the ships. We say ‘We’re gonna protect.’ What are we doing? They’ve got nothing but money.”

I am in no way settling. Trump is the only candidate to boldly expose conservative concerns so far.

The same person that until recently was a Democrat? The same person who has donated LOTS of money to DEmocrat candidates (and not all in NY). The same person who today said his favorite president was Bill Clinton?

Yep, I’ll take Cruz

"I am in no way settling. Trump is the only candidate to boldly expose conservative concerns so far."

That statement borders on lunacy, do you not get that?

Trump is a self-described Democrat. He SAID he was one.

He believes taxes should be raised on upper income earners.

He has tried to get the government to use its powers of eminent domain to snatch property from lawful owners for his own profit.

He wants an "assault weapons" ban.

He said the economy does better when Democrats are in charge of the government.

He stated that the US MUST have universal health care.

It's time to wake the hell up from your celebrity worship-induced coma and come back to reality. I've never seen so many conservatives lose their minds and their dignity.

You accuse someone of lunacy because they disagree with you. And I’m supposed to take you seriously? I might actually be willing to listen to a Trump malcontent if just one of them
Spoke in anything but accusatory, shrill and hysterical tones.

I accuse you of lunacy because you persist in fawning all over a liberal Democrat whose liberal views are public knowledge, and worse, because you call him the only conservative in the race.

Lunacy.

When you stop name calling and accusing others of fawning just because they prefer a candidate that you do not approve of, you will have more credibility. I’m not trying to be snarky, honest, but you come across as a know it all who assumes others have not done their homework just because they disagree with you. There are more civil ways to have discussions. We’Re all grownups. I haven’t called you a lunatic because I disagree with you. I would like that same courtesy from you.
