...At 12:24 p.m. Sunday, according to the AP, the first shots are fired and the video reportedly shows bikers, patrons and staff fleeing, running inside the restaurant. Some run into the bathroom and others go to the kitchen. At least three people reportedly were seen on the video with handguns.

The video doesn’t show the parking lot where much of the violence occurred, the AP reported. The restaurant has said the fight began outside.

Two minutes after the shooting starts, the footage shows police entering the restaurant with assault rifles...

First of all, I never said that. I've been misquoted.

LOL!

Thanks don-o. The Chief's statement leaves a lot of room for officers to have been acting in a sniper capacity.

...still no official report as to whether or not the "stateys" or "feds" were present when the shooting started?

I doubt that the police planned to be shooting M4s in a busy shopping area. That is incredibly dangerous to innocent bystanders.

Guess I should’ve put the “/s” tag after that.

Not that I can find.

One might rationally assume that of the hundreds who were at the Twin Peaks that day, quite a few pics and vids were made. Hundreds, probably.

They didn't bring them there to use as paperweights.

You are not being “misquoted”.
You are being held accountable for your expressed position.

You have bloviated a lot of nonsense to the exact effect that wearing motorcycle club clothing is probable cause for arrest and incarceration at a million dollars bail when a fight breaks out in a restaurant parking lot.

If you didn’t want that to not go over well you need to have not stated it.

Frankly, we’re I in New York, I would view the statements you have made regarding this matter as sufficient grounds to review every case in which you have been the principal witness for the prosecution. There is something fundamentally wrong with what you view the functions and limits of the law to be.

A month in and no one has gotten any charge beyond violating the Texas organized crime law

I hope everyone will read at lest some of this and then tell me how in the world a prosecutor is going to convince a jury beyond a reasonable doubt that 177 individuals are guilty of the crime with which they are charged.

When you pack the Jury with “If the police arrest someone, they must have done something”, types one does have to do much explaining. Also, don’t forget that juries, for the most part, are made up of those who do not know how to get out of jury duty.

“If it wears a vest; you must arrest.”

You’re a strange one. But anyway, I stipulate that wearing a motorcycle vest does not constitute probable cause for arrest. Unless gunplay breaks out inside a family restaurant and nine people end up dead. Then, yeah, lock everyone up and figure it out when the dust settles.

Maybe they only care to hold them under the “conspiracy law” until all the confiscated weapons have been analyzed to see if they can be linked to crimes not necessarily associated with the Twin Peaks event.

I have also heard that the bikers were very busy trying to ‘dispose’ of their weapons when they realized the cops were coming.

It must be all those voices in your head.

“I hope everyone will read at lest some of this and then tell me how in the world a prosecutor is going to convince a jury beyond a reasonable doubt that 177 individuals are guilty of the crime with which they are charged. “

They probably will not get all 177 but they will get some on murder charges. Meanwhile lives are saved as the ganstas are focused on getting out of jail rather than revenge killing.
