The City of Bixby changed insurance deductibles for their employees.

One of the changes means that a family now has a $7,000 deductible instead of a $500 one. There is a gap plan available on limited basis.

Employees said that no one asked them about the change or if they would prefer to pay higher premiums instead.

That’s unexpected.

It used to be that everyone had access to medical care (in some cases through the emergency room), but not everyone could afford insurance. Now, thanks to Obamacare, everyone has access to insurance, but not everyone can afford medical care even after their Obamacare premiums are taken from them against their will.

That’s 6,500 bucks you got to find for things that pop up. A family will try hard to avoid any issues and once they cross the yearly amount....they will pour on issues and see the doctor on just about everything. If you ask me....it’s about what’d it’d cost for yearly payments for a nice car.

Down the road we will have a scandal because of the profits that ObamaCare is producing for the insurance companies...

WRONG! Obamacare specifically requires insurance companies to limit their profits through either expenditures which comprise at least 85% of all income or through lowering premiums.

That's not to say that there probably isn't a CRAP LOAD of backdoor dealings and filings and "expenditures" to "preferred" hospitals and doctors, but Obamacare made sure that insurance companies couldn't just out and out make a direct profit off of our forced servitude to the insurance companies!

So, embezzlement investigations and charges, maybe. Excess profit investigations and charges, not likely (the insurance companies had plenty of time to figure out how to "hide" their profits)!

That's probably why Obama kept pushing the dates! He was giving those BASS-TURDS a chance to setup his money, honey-hole pipeline!

It is FREE until you need to use it!!!!

It is high quality and our employees pay absolutely nothing for individual coverage and only $129 per month for family coverage.

Indeed. But it really browns me off that those on the taxpayer tit never miss a chance to infer that “they’s owed.” None of them have a clue as to how wealth is created. They think it falls from the sky. I see it here in local government every day.

That is true. Most government employees think government has unlimited amounts of money. That’s why police and fire unions wind up financially destroying the communities they are hired to physically protect.

Profits are limited for the insurance companies. They are allowed a certain margin (too small), or they have to pay it back (supposedly to the customers, but more likely to the government).

There will be no insurance companies...some day.

All those corp types...will then work for the Federal Corp.

Cops will be nationalized.

Power Companies will be nationalized.

Medical Insurance will be nationalized.

Banks will be nationalized.

Grocery stores will be nationalized.

Etc...etc....

My sixth social/political sense based on experience tells me that practically all if not all persons from local government to fed government including judges are corrupted. The longer I live past WWII the more I get this feeling. It is not good for the me or the US to have such feelings.

A $7,000 deductible means that you may as well have no insurance.
But the folks will go right on voting democrat without ever thinking that democrats are the ones who gave them this situation.
